Wow, $29 M? The main house is small but I do like the design because it's an open concept just like my house here in the US. However, I would not build a separate building for guest and "maids" room. I would also like a big terrace/ porch at the front and a dirty kitchen because I love using wood when I'm cooking. This design is very close to what I'm looking for. We have a big lot (almost 1 hectare) in the province. Our family house is old but we are not going to demolish it since it has 4 bedroom and 2 bathrooms, great for visitors. We will just build a new house next to it. I've been in Cebu and some areas are expensive. My husband's cousin just bought a house over there 4 years ago for P7 million.

Great presentation. Audio quality isn’t great but her presentation was fine. Beautifully landscaped lot (especially in the front) and great main house layout. Nice western style but way too expensive at 30 million pesos. Guesthouse would be better if it had a small kitchenette and living area but since it doesn’t it’s a bit disconnected from main home if you want that to be a bedroom for main house. Going up a small spiral staircase for maids quarters and an outdoor CR isn’t great for her. You can get more house at that price in most places in the US (with the exception of metro Boston, New York, San Fran) and in countries like Thailand or Vietnam.

We don't do that here in the Philippines. It's not advisable because it will surge up your electrical bills in no time, compared to individual ac in each room, which you can just control whenever you want using it.

Some houses can be bought for $5,000 to $75,000 the higher you go the bigger house you can get. Foreigners can't own these houses, if you're a Filipino-America you can own these houses, and what you'll be doing is finding a Filipino attorney and get them to agree to say it's a condo. Or if you're a man just marry a young Filipino woman.
