I love that Kyra and her husband didn't turn this home into some generic version of a furniture showroom or an ultra modern soulless atrocity. I like a house where different rooms have unique styles and vibes. Overall, this home is still cohesive, with nods to LA's past, the coastal California location, and the owner's Italian heritage. You can see daylight in the frames of the old windows in the bedroom. It’s so LA. You don’t need screens nor worry about your windows NOT being airtight. What a lovely room.

I started feeling reaaaallly old when she was talking about having some vintage AD’s FROM THE 90’s. In my mind vintage is still everything between 1920-1970🫤. And everything before that is classic. Guess i’m from the class of vintage now🤓

Love, love the family room with the built in seat and gorgeous windows. The primary bathroom is amazing!!!!! That blue and black tile is gorgeous and to me, looks intentional, if she hadn't said it came that way. Especially with the black bottom claw foot tub. And the unique stain glass window. I did notice no mirror in the bathroom??? The pink kitchen is absolutely darling! Its such a cute, cozy, charming space. Love that sweet little room off the kitchen. It is styled perfectly right now. The washing stand is a gorgeous piece . I hope it makes it into the kitchen expansion. Not sure if it was intentional ... but the bowl of citrus matching the lemon plate on the wall is eye candy! This entire home and deck and tree house bedroom make the perfect cozy nest for a young couple. I hope they make beautiful memories here.

Oh my gosh!! I live in a 1957 duplex that has the vaulted ceiling, but before I moved in, it was remodeled a bit. The previous tenant had been here for 25 years. The unit needed some tender loving care. However, the blonde wood doors and drawers were painted white, the red vaulted ceiling was painted white, flooring was added (I admit that the carpeting was yukey) and the 1950's tiles were torn out. I admit that it's a lovely job that he did, but I really wanted the original wood on the doors, cabinets and drawers. This cottage is just charming beyond belief. I love all of the tile work and that deck is to die for. I would be privileged to live there.

Love this home and property, actually it’s my dream to live on a property with family around! Beautiful cozy style. Glad that the homeowner kept the bathroom and kitchen original to the home although I think I would update the wallpapers but still with that vintage feel. I am sooooo happy to see that she kept the original tile in the bathroom and kitchen. I live in my grandma’s house that was built in 1957. We have a pink tile bathroom a yellow tile bathroom and a green tile bathroom! Our kitchen and butlers pantry are also yellow. I’ve had so many people ask me over the years when I am going to “remodel” and get rid of the tile. Never !
