If you put a mirror above the bed you’d be able to make the bedroom feel like it’s opened up more, it’ll also reflect more light. Mirrors are always so great for that. Love the atmosphere and how “breezy” your place seems ❤

This space is well done. I like all of it. Though I am a minimalist, your style is beautiful. The small additions make your space unique and the details in your method of aggregating "things" is not so maximalist that I would eschew the space. Everything means something to you and that grandmother swatch is IT!!! I love how sentimental you are about family. The apartment is gorgeous. Reminds me of a hotel.

Beautiful but I bet the rent is absolutely sky high for 450 square feet of space. Yikes! I also wonder what the parking situation is like. I lived in Newport right after college and there is NO PARKING in that area. I used to ride my bike to the grocery store & forget about holidays & the summer when tourists descend upon NB like ants at a BBQ.

This apartment is so pleasing. Regarding Ikea, the brand has a genius for great design that streamlines/maximizes small spaces. I thought I would avoid Ikea in my home but in the end found that their pieces play well with others. Older "better" woods, the tight corner, the odd wall -- and they look great.
