What a stunning surprise! Such elegance and warmth; traditional interior style with just the perfect little twist of personal erudition and idiosyncratic creative expression. The balance, obvious intelligence and the colour of Adnan's personal history...so well done, beautiful. It's funny sometimes that that the most unlikely of people reveal such sophistication and great taste; I imagine chatting to them in a supermarket queue and would have NO IDEA what excellent taste and elevated sense of style such a person has. I learned this 'little lesson' many years ago and always treat people I meet circumstantially as if they harbour grand secrets of personal accomplishment. So many legends of the counter-cultural music and art scenes of the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s today look like the most unsuspecting people you could ever imagine-- just grandparents in cardigans. Then I hear what band they used to play in etc and go 'WOOOOWWWW, NO WAY!' 👍

Love that he finds items like the decorative bottle on the street. You never know where you will find a treasure. I too collect turtle shells. After the turtle dies a natural death of course I find them on my walks although not often and I bring them home and preserve them. I only have 3 now

What a beautiful and welcoming home. Cody is so very lucky to have a loving daddy like Adrian. There are so many items that I really liked...but....I have to admit that my very favorite was the framed color photograph of Jacqueline Kennedy and Lee Radziwill. Being a great admirer of Mrs. Kennedy, I found the story of his grandmother having met her during her visit to India in 1962 very touching. Hi Homeworthy! As a hard wired fan of home decor from when I was about 4 years old playing with about 10 pieces of red and white Lego blocks, my dad said, maybe someday I would be an architect. Well, that didn't happen but my love for decor is one of the things that I keep alive in me. Being at home alone when I'm not at work has helped me cope. I watched Adnan share his rental apartment twice and will most likely watch again. His home reaffirms that we don't have to have to decorate in one way or another and for this I am truly grateful.

To decorate such a small space in such a beautiful and sentimental way, including street finds, to me shows great talent. I adore those English dining chairs with the tulip table. Have always thought that if I lived in the hustle and bustle of New York City that I would need to have lots of open space to breathe when I was at home. But this apartment is so well done and interesting that I love most everything about it! Love his thinking and way of explaining everything including the lamp in the bush!! Adnan looks so familiar, is he on TikTok? Maybe I follow him on TikTok or Instagram because I only really follow interior designers accounts. As someone in a small space, I notice and really like how he laid out the space! He did a really great job, I love the little tips he's giving during this tour. I love the drape fabric and book over the ottoman. His dining corner is my favorite part of the apartment and his living room gallery wall. He needs to do a tutorial on how to do a gallery wall.

The eclecticism is really great in your apartment. All the displays seem to work together really well and it all seems so personal and unique. I do have a thought, however. Why not paint the white walls? A subtle or mildly dark backdrop behind the displays would really bring them out in a dramatic but still subtle way.
