People pay interior decorators a fortune. Most of them haven't a clue. This lady hit the nail on the head when she said " buy what you love". Because when you buy what you truly love, you will always find a place for it and you will always love it. Fashion's come and go and soon a house can look dated. Listen to no one and follow your heart. After all,you do surely want a home and not just a house !!! Hats of to this lady....her home is absolutely FABULOUS !!!

I really like that her home is maximalist and also feels really grounded and calming! I feel like I'm breathing more slowly and deeply just from watching this video. It's so clear that she filled the space with things she loves

I love how everything has a place and is so intimate for her. She buys and keeps only what she loves. Her heart and soul is in this home and it shows. Just beautiful. And her personal style is tres chic. Love those glasses👓

I think this might be my favorite home. I love that she is in every corner and this could only be her home. I don’t like those beautiful, minimalist homes that feel cold and generic. I agree that as long as you buy things you love, everything will just go together.

Love this place. It’s so me, and so is your philosophy. Surround yourself with what you love. Trends don’t matter. What other people think doesn’t matter. If things don’t match it doesn’t matter. All that matters is that you love it. 💕

First views of the home had me thinking it was a 1930's structure. With subtler understanding as to its layered history, am still digging what is a handsome, vital, embracing, soulful, playful, expansive abode. Completely appreciating Heidi's autonomy/conscious affinities, and her path to realizing - with greater and greater detail, accumulation of objects, further expression, global pit stopping, philanthropy, etc. - their physical manifestation. A vital , dignified, and *Taurean journey - still in process. Bravo Heidi Lender. I really like you.

The mood of Heidi Lender's house reminds me of my favorite movie, The City of Your Final Destination, filmed and set in Uruguay. I agree with Heidi that everything you have collected can be placed where you can enjoy looking at it, including pictures that only you enjoy. I love the expanded bedroom with the beautiful view.

Lovely home. great use of space and capture of natural light. Naturally comes from being a photographer, although it might come from someone else, as well, to be fair. And a praise from choosing Uruguay. As a Portuguese-American born in Brazil, and actually living in Brazil, my very few encounters with Uruguayans and Chileans had excellent karma. Uruguayans tend to be laid back, unpretentious and easiest to deal with, out of the bunch in Latin America, not to underscore others. Just my assessment. Perhaps because, other than being a place to serve as South America's Switzerland, the country is very uncomplicated, IMHO, as a place to serve as a nest for expats. It's a forgotten place in the South Cone with long lunch hour breaks, and holiday shopping is non existent, as everyone closes shop. To be able to adjust validates she is a world traveler, not a tourist.
