Hi: here Theo, your neighbour from Coimbra !! Very, very beautiful home, with lots of space. As I see from the comments (I only understand a little Dutch, it’s very similar to Platdütsch, I lived in Hamburg a lot of years) I think you have to start an Airbnb or something similar. Your new dog is fabulous, they are very good guardians. Here we come to the topic: their fur is for something. My parents were hippie minded Germans. I grew up near Buenos Aires after WW2. Winter is cold. I here in Coimbra have a heat/ cold AC, which still is of the old models without an inverter compressor. First solution is the dogs on you while you sleep 🤣, 2nd an electric radiator (I used one in Gaula in Madeira at the beginning of 2023), and the 3rd option an inverter AC in the bedroom (I remember my father gettig up at 3 am to put wood in the burner 😁). But November, December, January, and February are fairly cold at night !!!!

Hello Theo thank you for your beautiful comment. We will see how it goes ;). We are from the Netherlands Ánd lived in a van for 3 years so we are quite used to cold. We do have a beautiful fireplace in the living room and a gas heather in the bathroom/ sleeping room. But for sleeping I think big blankets will be enough😇. Lets see! Until now it’s very warm here🎉

what a beautiful house. in my opinion (i am a javanese from Indonesia) the wood furniture at living room is so beautiful and look antique (in my country usualy furniture like it made from Jati wood one of the best type of wood) you do not need to repainting it. if you need a fresh colour better repaint the wall.

Well this furniture is good quality but it does used and it’s not that common what we do with it. BUT its furniture from other people and that’s how it looks, feels (and smells).
