This video is a house tour vlog, at a friend's house who lives in a beautiful Haussmann style apartment. We visited the home of Virginie, a TV journalist and mum of three children. The architecture that is typical of Paris is Haussmann style, and her home is also in the Haussmann style. It is an old building and there are many inconveniences. However, she prefers to live in a beautiful old apartment rather than choose convenience. I think that is the French trait I admire the most. She loves antique furniture and interior design. Every item is particular and there is a reason for choosing it. Also, as a family of five, we were able to learn a lot of things that are very useful to know, such as how to store things and use space. I hope you enjoy this great room tour, it’s a wonderful way to learn about stylish Parisian homes and interiors!

What a beautiful apartment! It's such a joy to see a 'real' family home in Paris that bears the mark of its inhabitants, not just a show piece. Everything is well thought of, from space maximising arrangements, warm colour pallettes and a mix of second hand /contemporary furnitures. My only cringe moment (pardon) is seeing people wear their shoes at home. I know it's the norm but my Asian gene just can't do it 😄 When I lived in Brussels I asked my friends /guests to take their shoes off and offered them house slippers instead.
