I feel this in my soul. We’d been house hunting for a while and nothing was popping up (we’re limited to a small area for family/school). We found what we thought was the perfect house, made a full price offer, but because our house hadn’t listed yet they rejected it. Our house went under contract after our first open house weekend and the panic set in. We find another house, make an offer and lose it due to shady realtor dealings. Fast forward 6 weeks of literally not a single house to buy and a close family member says “do you want to buy this house?” Which so happened to be our dream! I believe wholeheartedly that the houses we “lost” weren’t just a coincidence and that God was at work. I pray your friends, and you of course, have the same experience.

I have never related to anything more! We are in the process of buying our first home. We have 3 kids in a small 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom home with very little storage space. Carlin, I am with you! We do not have a dishwasher, and this is the first time in my life that I have not had one. Anyways, our closing keeps getting pushed back and it has been one thing after another. I’m a teacher and my goal was to have everything moved in and ready to go while we are on Spring Break. The clock keeps ticking, and I get more anxious. I have to remind myself that it’s God’s timing and not mine. Praying for you guys! It’s a difficult spot to be in, but I keep remembering the Elevation Worship lyrics, “I will be content in every circumstance.” Also, it broke my heart when Layla wanted to go with Katie. It’s so hard being away from family! 💕

I love you all so much! I remember going to a revival one time and the pastor had the church members sign up to pray on the days that they wanted to pray pre-revival. I remember when the preacher came to preach the revival he said, “That was very good that you all prayed as much as you did, but “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”James 5:16. It only takes that one person and of course only in God timing! He’s faithful! That spike so loud to me! I know God has the best house for your family out there! Love you all so much 🤍🤍🤍🤍

Carlin what you are saying is so true- like Paul told us “ be content in whatever state I am in. As parents it is so easy to do that with our children. I can’t wait until they set up, crawl, walk, their first words, when they say full sentences- also wonder what our second child will be. Before long we have rushed through 18 years & they are leaving for college. We should slow down & live each minute of their lives! The Lord certainly does have a plan. I don't comment a lot but I watch your videos. I have to tell you about the blessing that was given to my brother recently. Long story short my brother was renting a house for 19 years when the land lord told him he had to be out by December 31 because he was selling it. My brother tried to find a place but several options just fell through. He had the worst luck. The landlord did give him till February 28 and told him no more extensions so he had to find a place by then. That weekend he applied for an apartment in his neighborhood where he wanted to stay but the application was going to take 2-3 days which would be past February 28. On the day we were moving him which was February 27 the landlord called and said he was approved only one day after he filled out the application. We were so grateful and excited for him. I know you will be blessed the same. 💗

We had been married 11 yrs and had 3 boys living in a 2 bedroom single wide trailer when I told my husband we are buying a house and moving so I started packing and just stacking the boxes around. We couldn’t find a house for months, kept praying then a house in the subdivision with my parents opened up, was a great deal and had land. It was perfect but totally a God thing. Praying for you guys!!

Going right along with what you said, Carlin, I feel like one of the biggest lessons God has taught me is it's not about the desitiatnion, it's about the journey. God grows us in the journey. And one of those lessons for me was similar to what you are going through. My two sisters and I decided to buy a house together. We were being kicked out of our townhouse because the landlord wanted to sell. We had 2 1/2 months to find a house. We couldn't find anything because of so many offers on everything we looked at. I prayed God would hide a house for us. On the day we were moving out and into my parents house (because we hadn't found anything yet) a house came on the market on a Monday. Because it went on the market on a Monday most people didn't see it. We only were up against one other offer and because we wrote the sellers a letter they took our offer. We found out the next day! We were so discouraged because here we were moving into my parents house with no idea if we would find anything any time soon and it was going to be cramped. And the day we we moved in we find out we had a house!! We moved in 30 days later! We don't know why God did it like that but it definitely bolstered our faith. And by the sellers putting the house on the market on Monday it literally hid the house from the majority of people looking. So don't be discouraged, sometimes God does things last minute! 😂 I'll be praying things work out soon!
