Yeah I thought that too. Alduin travelling through time & space. Would be cool to link it to TES, imo. I would also love it if they added Nirn into one of the solar systems. So we can literally land in Skyrim, kind of like the film ‘Outlander’. Either have Skyrim inside Starfield which would be funny: “you’re finally awake”. Or, more realistically, just have the landscape the same as ESO / Skyrim / Oblivion / Morrowind on that planet as an Easter Egg. 👀 Starfield could be hinted to be set before TES.

Making me want to play again, I only played one playthrough and put it down, but then again that’s what I did with Skyrim and now I love it. I think it’s all expectations, once I knew Skyrim was not like Morrowind or oblivion, and I had a couple years after trying it and disliking it, it really grew on me. Hopefully starfield is the same

Skyrim is actually an incredible experience, and I'm not overstating it... I love Skyrim because there is so much to do and explore.. one night you may be walking from whiterun to rorikstead, under a double moonlit sky.. you've got masser and secunda lighting the way with an awe inspiring Aurora painted across the starlit night sky.. maybe you decide to stop at a few points of interest along the way, there is always something to discover, and hardly a dull moment. That's what makes Skyrim so special. Once you pick it up you can't put it down.. I feel the same way for starfield even though I have not played it yet. But I've been watching , it's a great game there are a lot of amusements, unusual moments, funny moments, and things to do and discover.. you can build a ships.. Ships! Any way you want.. that's awesome! Does the whole galaxy out there waiting for you.. there's even a planet full of clones..😂

I would eventually love to see these added to Starfield: 1. Radio stations for different factions! (Perhaps download at capital cities); 2. Helmet solar glare on visor (like ship windows have) & hissing / gas if take off in non-oxygen environment; 3. Evil/ neutral companions & more romance options; 4. Optional slow mo ‘kill cams’, combat finisher animations, & gore (like in previous BGS games); 5. Save files with thumbnail images! (like previous BGS games). 6. Codex / Bestiary of our *discovered* flora & fauna (with images); 7. Option in Gameplay Settings to only have human POI’s appear in faction solar systems or adjacent solar systems; 8. ‘Space walking' outside our ship & space stations;🪐 9. Interesting space POI’s (black holes, giant asteroids we can land on, wormholes we can fly through, etc) 10. Puzzles for the Temples! 11. Ability to swim underwater, submersibles, & a secret underwater city / faction in an expansion. 👀 12. Much more extreme landscapes & weather (tsunamis, waterfalls, dense jungles, enormous volcanos, sand storms, blizzards) 🌋🏔️🏝️🌊

RPG elements like player choice and consequences are shallow compared to past Bethesda games. I think it is one of Bethesda's biggest flops. People thought that the house Va'ruun home world of Va'ruun Kai would not contain any procedurally generated locations. They were wrong. If you travel outside of the two named locations marked on the orbital map then you get a square filled with random caves and crashed ships. The only change is there are no spacer infested labs.

Another Nuka World go all in on something some very vocal players wanted DLC is what i am expecting. If this is fully fleshed out with "you can take your crazy AF religion and shove it" as a viable option I will be very very surprised. More likely I expect is you get an option of that sort but then 2 short quests rather than a complete questline... like Nuka World and not siding with the raiders. Just instead of raiders it is religion which Bethesda likes forcing upon the player in TES.

I got Starfield for free through the Mountain Dew XBox collaboration, after getting about $25-30 worth of Mountain Dew for the points. I had zero expectations for the game. I didn't hate it for the most part. Loved Sarah and Walter, and a few other characters. Loved some of the weapons, especially the Magshot and Magshear. But this game might end up being my least favorite Bethesda game, if you don't include Fallout 76.
