You should check out condo listings in Metro Manila. There is one for sale located in Bonifacio Global City (BCG) priced at Php 300 million for a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom unit (about 300sqm). That’s about $5 million. It was featured on KZbin last December, and honestly, the condo looked quite ordinary, and the furniture was not particularly impressive. There was no window treatment for the whole glass windows. For the same amount of money here in San Francisco, California, $5 million would buy you a stunning condo with a beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge, the bay, and downtown San Francisco, complete with first-class amenities. In New York City, $5 million would get you a place with a view of Central Park on the Upper East Side. Alternatively, in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, that amount could buy you a house overlooking downtown L.A. I’m curious how they arrived at such a staggering asking price of Php 300 million for a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom living space that overlooks the city’s traffic jams. Just saying...
