That is so true about the cold. I lived in Tampa when I served in the military and the heat was something. One night in the winter I went for a walk without a jacket and I liked to freeze my ass off. They sent me to the Middle East and that was when I discovered true heat. 120 degrees is no joke. People say that it is a dry heat, yeah right.

It was sad seeing so many dead fish, especially that prized bass! However, we fared a lot better with Hurricane Francine than the flooding & destruction Helene caused the East Coast! I can only pray that Louisiana is as fortunate & blessed for the remainder of the hurricane season. I hope that y'all will be able to treat us to videos of y'all & Drake fishing, shrimping &/or crabbing soon. Thank you for sharing Dat LA Life with those of us who love (& miss) it!
