I don’t think your distant drink hack was complicated enough! What you need is 50’ of 1/4” clear vinyl tubing, a minimum of three check valves (to stop back flow) and 30’ of 1/2 water pipe insulation. Place the first check valve 3’ along the tubing from soda bottle, place second check valve half way along remaining tubing, the last check valve 1’ from mouth end. Now slip insulation over the tubing and valves place tube into hole pre drilled into soda bottle cap. You’ll have cold drink anytime and without having to suck your life away!
