+mohammad ali While I get it, for anyone who is considering the tool, they have to consider the amount of usage. If you are going to cook enough, then it's work putting in the time to advance your knife skills. If you are not going to be cooking much, then maybe this tool is right. The core usage looks like it would be for people who cook a couple of times a month or less. If you plan to cook more than that, it's worth getting good with your knife.

That pizza cutter was cringeworthy, if it is as sharp as it looks. It reaches way above the fingers and slides back and forth; sooner or later you're going to cut yourself bad. With a knife, not only would you cut much faster and more even slices you'd have the flat side of the blade touch your knuckles rather than the edge of the blade.

Cooking bacon in the microwave can yield perfectly cooked bacon with a fraction of the time taken and mess made. You also don't have to stand over it while doing it leaving you free prepare the rest of the meal while it cooks. I only use this for a very small batch of bacon. Anything more than 4-5 strips is best done in the oven on a pan. People who cut down trees with chainsaws and axes are not lazy because you use an axe only and it takes more effort. It's more about being smart and using the right tool for the right job at the right time.

Tip for peeling eggs.... crack the shells of the eggs right before putting them in the cold water bath and they shell will practically slide off.

If you wrap your potato in a soaking wet paper towel before putting it in the microwave, it will help the potato retain its shape and not be wrinkly and separated from the skin when done.

The egg piercing device has been a thing in the Netherlands for years. I don't remember anyone in my family ever not having one of these. Just as standard in a Dutch kitchen as forks are. Also: the reason you mangled your eggs while peeling is because you are doing it wrong: Place egg on the table under your palm and build up pressure until it cracks then roll it back n forth a couple of times. Comes right off.

Poking an egg on the bottom isn't about making it easier to peel. It's about letting sulfur gas release from the air pocket in the egg. It's supposed to prevent that "Boiled Egg" smell when boiling them. That's what I was told anyways.

kinda disappointed here, "remade at home" was excited thinking i would actually learn something but most of this is just substituting one thing for another, only one thing is made here and that a bloody egg tool made with thumb tacks and egg carton. as if clickbait doesnt suck enough now we get totally fraudulent titles. this show sucked i wont be back for more thanks.

If you just take some time to learn how to use a knife you wouldn't need half of the stupid gadgets you see. None are as good as a knife. For instance, just try to cut anything consistently thin with the scissors. Can't be done.

To make the eggs easier to peel take a plastic container and fill it half way with water and throw in the eggs and shake it for a minute or so, after that the egg should be easy to peel and it should peel nicely.

Ziploc makes bags that you can steam food in. It takes 7 minutes to fix a baked potato from raw to perfect. Plus you can have it already topped. The box of 10 is $2.50 at Wally World.

When I bake a potato in the microwave I poke holes in it with a fork then get paper towels, about two enough to wrap the potatoes in , wrap it then put under faucet and wet squeeze excess water and put into microwave. Steams the peel keeping it nice and moist not dry out and cooks the middle with-it drying out also. If the paper towels get a little dry during cooking just dampen with water again.
