I am a housekeeper. Have done it for over a year now and it's one of the toughest jobs in the world .... I only have a short amount of time to clean a 2 bedroom Villa and when some people leave it "trashed" i fall behind ...therefore causing the check in time to be later...and also leaving our guests upset...I have major respect to Housekeepers! There were days I want to cry! Some times I feel like it's not fair because I WANT to do my best but im forced to "rush" because the time is just NOT there! MAJOR respect to all housekeepers...we are athlete's! LoL! I lost 20 pounds when I switched over to housekeeping!

Great job ladies! , I must say we all know it’s a rare day to have two ladies working one room in a hotel supposedly you have 20 minutes per room buuut really they want you out in 15 so your hustling, never was a fan of flat bottom sheets particularly if their not large enough, good video, We used lemon oil cloths to wipe down the shower curtains to keep them from mildew and I also used it on the glass shower doors to keep the film from building up on it, good video🤙🌺

I never leave my room messy my husband was like that's why we have housekeeping I'm like pick it up lol. I've seen some rooms and it's look like a tornado hit it. I had room service and I had smooth jazz playing, flowers, and I sprayed my room he was like. Your room has a cool relaxed vibe.

There's no way to spend that much time in a room, most housekeepers don't ....! Although it would be nice if housekeepers could be so detailed in cleaning like this but some are paid by units and as I stated if they spend that much time in a room they will not make much per day... That's why it would also be wonderful if guest could help in cleaning their mess before they check out... It's so disrespectful and says a lot about a person who does not clean their own mess when leaving... be considerate of others and not make their jobs hard them... Treat others as you would like to be treated !!!

Not at a good hotel. At a really good hotel, you get 20 minutes per room, and they are inspected. Hope you can find a better location!

When I worked at a hotel it took me 25 minutes to clean a room. They paid by hour though so I wasnt worried. They also were not worried about how long you took as long as it was perfect
@jennifer-leefranziska65855 жыл бұрын
My sister in law gets 15 minutes for a room if the guest is staying and 20 if they are departing so you could imagine the stress and it has to be perfect. Guests should have the heart to clean there own trash I'm nit talking about cleaning im on about wrappers and so on.

Spraying and letting the chemicals sit helps especially the tub and sink.and the people I train and work with always forget to clean the trash bins…and some just don’t want to take that extra time…this is how we were trained at Hilton towers in downtown Atlanta.this should be the standard and adjustments to the bed making

This is how it is done at a good hotel. I would have liked to have seen more detail with how to mop the floor, and there should be more on cleaning the inside of the toilet. Where I worked, we ran the sticky hair remover before getting anything wet. Nice job, but remind them to vacuum behind the movable furniture. At a good hotel, it is done this way. At cheap hotels they rarely clean anything. Remind workers to wear gloves, please, and to change gloves. :) The bed did not have hospital corners, hummm... Great details on dusting. Just curious, why more towels for a double than a king? Great job.

They're not telling you the most important part here... They expect you to do ALL OF THIS in 30mins... and God Forbid its a Trash Room ( Meaning the past guest was Disgusting and left LOADS of trash/ Food/Junk) EVERYWHERE and you have to do 16 rooms a Day.. Some people have NO IDEA how hard HK really is.. Especially on your body.. Mind you, when you ha e guests that are alwaya leaving late and past their checkout time, you have no clue how that slows us down.. Just be courteous to the people who clean your rooms while you're enjoying your stay.. and please be patient..

The bed was not made well, it might look nice at the finish but great service is in the details. All the wrinkles and part of end not tucked all shows in the end. I also would not let glass cleaner sit on the glass as it runs and makes cleaning harder and longer. We strip rooms first upon entering, makes room easier and quicker. I stopped at bed making, its an ok video, but needs improving
