and the only way we can find more humor like House in today's TV climate is if they come in packages like 'Dexter', 'Yellowjackets', and 'Peacemaker'(psychopaths' and sociopaths with violent tendencies to foster that kind of sustainable humor) to name a few, delivered in less than 10episodes per season type shows. A House reboot today would just prove anecdotal given the consumer culture we have with social media/twitter/KZbin and 'Woke" political awareness.

When I was 17, I had female related medical issues. My crackpot doctor decided I needed a colonoscopy. I was fully conscious with zero local anesthetic. Not only was it devastating, it was excruciating. My entire abdomen hurt for weeks due to them accidentally over-stretching out my insides with the fluid. 20 years later, I still have nightmares about it.

I was surprised they did not consider FFI (Fatal Familial Insomnia). It fits *most* of the symptoms, apart from the fact that she can be sedated. As a doctor and former junkie myself I can attest that there's no way any active addict would consume his drugs in cute and funny ways like House does, every single miligram counts and you'd want to get them into your body to the last particle, no addict would crush his drugs and sprinkle them into his foods. Then again, no veteran Opioid addict would use Vicodin as his drug of choice when there are far more effective, more powerful and less toxic Opioids around, which is especially true for House who could get them quite easily as a doctor (and a resourceful and smart one at that).

I got pretty paranoid about insomnia a long time ago. Researched a lot about it. From what I remember insomnia is not a deadly condition. It can lead to death through zonking you out and you walking in front of a car or something but by itself won’t be the cause becuase the body will shut down on its own, sleep, before it dies. I think it’s 3 or 5 days awake straight is when you start hallucinating. And the longest case of someone staying awake is 10 or 11 days I think. But no worries. You’ll fall asleep way before that point. Unless you are on drugs or something which then the drugs or something will kill you.

Spoiler alert: This patient would have died long before the end of the episode, if she was going to die at all. Plague kills quickly or it recedes. Either way... if someone makes it past 10 days of first symptoms, they will recover. Granted, recovery from the effects of plague can take MUCH longer and there can be very severe complications. Also, the show's writers are assuming fleas from a dog shipped from New Mexico to New Jersey would still be ON the dog & alive (plague kills fleas too) after it finally gets to the new owners (2-3 weeks or longer?!?!?) Fleas feed on host animals, but that is not where they live. They live OFF of the animal. Dogs do get sick from plague, but do not often die from it. An obviously sick dog would not be adopted as a pet. Just some continuity problems. I do love at the end of the episode where House hands Chase a syringe full of plague, needle point first. One NEVER passes a syringe with the needle pointed TOWARDS someone else. That is basic training for medicine. OMG! How many times did House try to kill Chase over the years? P.S. I am not a medical professional, but I am an expert in plague... both from historical & biological perspectives. P.P.S. I am a huge fan of House. P.P.S. They wasted their one plague episode IMO. *Insomnia sucks. Was diagnosed with it since I was 7. Been on every sleeping pill known to man, some illegally obtained. You legit begin hallucinating after 5 days of not sleeping. I was rushed to hospital on Day 5 when it was discovered I had contracted Meningitis & had swelling in my brain. I had to be restrained after arguing with a friend from childhood who had died 3 years previously. He was standing at the bottom of my hospital bed just staring at me.*

@@olegkupran5284 All I know is this. My first memory I was 7 years old & had just electrocuted myself I stuck my toe in an exposed outlet. I was sectioned for 6 months. They actually locked me in my room at 7 years old. They said what I did was "a bid for oblivion" they also were doing tests on me because I was staying awake days at a time without feeling fatigue. Years later I realize what they did was illegal. I was basically a lab-rat they did experiments on. When my parents visited I was allowed in the day room. was basically a white room with a TV inside a cage. They said I had a severe form of insomnia & it can be deadly.

When he put the pill on the napkin and wrapped it up, I was like please tell me he’s not. He whacked his cane on it. I said come on there’s no way he’s gonna and then he did it. He sprinkle it onto his food. I have been waiting to see how sprinkle his Vicodin onto his food for I don’t know how long I’m pretty sure that’s what he’s on Vicodin. I thought I heard them say that I’m one of the episodes😂 either way, I’m just I can’t believe he did it

Cameron's attitude really pisses me off in this arc. Foreman didn't take an article she wrote and put his own name on it. He didn't take words she wrote and out them in his own article without citation. He wrote an article on the same subject she was planning to write about. That's not stealing! If this is a thing in medicine, where it's bad etiquette to write about something when you know someone else is, that's a dumb tradition. If not, she has no excuse.

maybe he should have gotten his leg amputated to eliminate the pain, and do it soon after his injury so as to avoid ghost pain. He would have been a good candidate for an artificial leg, and would not need the cane. I think that's HE would have prescribed to a patient in his situation.

So then, is this every episode of House? House is usually always right, his doctors always say 'no we can't do that', house either makes them do it or finds a way himself, and it's either he was right, or they set up some build up (Like looking for that tick in the elevator he purposefully stopped) and THEN he's still right?
