The Warriors defeated themselves (i.e. self-destructed from self-inflicted wounds). You didn't see Lebron James get ejected from games and get suspended for 20 games. If Lebron had done what Draymond did and if Draymond played smarter and not get suspended, the Lakers would have been the 10th seed and the Warriors would have been the 8th seed. That doesn't explain how he can consistently put up 20 and 30 pts when he feels like it, but not when their season is on the line....

Do NOT ever say Klay Thompson is the "second greatest shooter of all time". Age is no excuse. Plenty of legendary shooters continued to be top shooters even when they get ripe of age.
@And1one7576 ай бұрын
Age isnt the problem its injuries he lost his legs... and being a half step slower them constested shots come in tighter windows... lenron last year shot terrible from 3 last year dealing with a foot injury most of the year it makes a difference

Warriors played a lackluster game in an elimination. They got outplayed, out rebounded, out smarted and out coached. Sacramento wanted it more and they deserve the win. I dont understand what is in Kerrs mind his substitution patterns. They need a reliable low post big man who can finish and dish and open up the shooters.

The "Splash Brothers" Klay is no more. Steph turns 37 next season. Draymond is more trouble than he's worth as a non-baller. I think they call it..... the end of an era. I remember some Warrior fans when they became the new, young hot item on the menu being disrespectful to the Spurs after their 20 years of championship level dominance finally came to an end via age & injury. Like Steve Kerr said (who himself always had the class to show respect towards Spurs), "no one stays on top forever".

I agree with you that this is the nail in the coffin for the Warriors. As a Laker fan of 21 years I get annoyed with some other Laker fans out there who think every year is their year since Lebron joined the team. Don’t get me wrong, there was a lot of chirping going on in the Kobe era but it’s a lot worse with Lebron (which he is my second favorite player all time behind Kobe and I am glad he’s on the team) and they’re not nearly as well run as the Kobe-era Laker teams.

Boy just imagine if Lebron went 0 for 10 in a game….he would get crucified by these guys

They are in trouble because they have no draft picks to trade or use.. and they also have players nobody wants to get anything in return that will make them better. And they are deep in the cap space so they cant go and sign a good player. They are done.
@estelaguarda54236 ай бұрын
Well they are great in picking late draft picks like Poole, Podz and TJD, and Klay and CP3's expiring contract will free them 70M, if they can trade Wiggins they will be under the cap next season and can sign someone, hopefully a great scorer, long term.
@johnd19276 ай бұрын
@@estelaguarda5423 i thought cp3 had a player option? If thats the case they’re stuck with him basically. Same concept with wiggins im not sure what someone would be willing give up for him. Hes unreliable in many ways. Also not sure how many free agents are interested in playing with the warriors now.
@johnd19276 ай бұрын
@@estelaguarda5423 and its a roll of the dice with any draft pick you can’t count on that. Podz and davis are playing because the warriors have no other options lol

I hate to say it but Golden states era is officially over. If Steph wants to compete for a title he has to request a trade, or live with finishing his career as a golden state warrior as I believe the team will rebuild. Klay doesn't have the same value he once did, but i think his modavation is gone as he and Draymond already accomplished a amazing career. Tradeing Kllay or Draymond or chris Paul are not that valuable now as father time creeps in.
