We love seeing all of the creative IKEA rooms for ideas too! You mentioned 6:47 that some people are upset with woods coming back to kitchens. Why? Whatever the case, wood accents are pretty & one can still sell a house with or without it.

I just LOVE this channel and content so much. I moved out of my parent’s home for the first time last summer and I found your channel while I was shopping for furniture and decor. I’ve always loved black and white as a color scheme, but was afraid to transition that into home decor because I didn’t want my first apartment to appear cold and unwelcoming. You definitely inspired me and TAUGHT me how to accomplish a black and white scheme while making it warm and cozy. I’m still learning, but your home and design style remains a top influence for me. I loved your video. Seeing your son being so silly at Ikea made my day. My two boys, now 33 and 29, used to ride the heavy duty carts in the self service section like two speed demons. Yes, I tried to stop them but in the end I have great memories of their antics. We started shopping at Ikea when my oldest son was one years old, and I still go there. You have to try the Loofah dish sponges from Amazon they last for 4 or 5 months and they never EVER EVER smell bad! They are my number one favorite Amazon find for house hold products!!

We are house hunting and think we found our home. Deciding on color palettes because it needs new flooring and paint and everything. Love my current black and gray walls but now considering greige with some earthy accents…after years of going towards gray, black and white its hard to pull that trigger!

That was FUN! Thank you for taking us along on your I-K-E-Aaaah adventure with 13 year old Landon in tow! Glad his gaming desk was in stock! He definitely earned it 😆 It is a 3 to 4 hour trek for us to get to our nearest IKEA and they do not ship. Next time I am able, I will certainly be on the lookout for the gorgeous rugs! The curtains! The pillow covers! The wooden tray and cutting board oh my! And. The sponges for sure! 😊 I have 1 or 2 of them that I will not use until I can buy another package or packages! The last little sales bit that Landon showed us, for all of the extra clothes. 😄 I actually have 2 of them, I use them for allll my scarves 💛🖤☕️

I did want to ask about the curtains in your bedroom that you brought back from Ikea to add to the ones you have. How do you keep the light out as these are quite sheer? I tried to see if you had blinds or roman blinds behind them but I couldn't see anything. I'm copying your paint palette but I have to buy Taubmans as my daughter suffers allergies.
