I have grown some plants in corners, but I use mirrors to direct the light to them. It's not ideal, but it does work. I have a dark living room so I have to be creative.

I grew up in Zimbabwe, I now live in London. A lot of the plants that grew all around our property are now abundant house plants in my home! However, all the ferns that grew like weeds in our home in Zimbabwe.. I struggle to keep alive as houseplants. I don’t know why i find it so hard to grow the hardy ferns indoors.

Yay you did a house plant video! I love begonias. In Australia I found it was hard to keep up my outdoor food garden with the drought and extreme heat this year. My house plants flourished though which gave me some hope while everything outside died.
@amyjones24905 жыл бұрын
I love begonias i have 3 different kinds. An angel wing that goes dormant in winter and blooms outside all summer. A double garden variety that ive had years that goes in and out and blooms year around and 3 rex style with different leaf colors

I use to be anything Victorian goes, I've since changed a little but enjoy mixing vintage style furniture with my Victorian furniture. I live in south texas where its hot and humid. I recently started indoor plants because of another you tuber "PLANTERINA" she lives upper NY? She's very knowledgeable about caring for indoor plants and partners with a growing nursery in Florida. Anyway I enjoy people like you your so knowledgeable about things. I'm still learning with my indoor plants some grow some don't due to my lighting. I'm hooked on your channel. Thank you!

You sound like a really cool person. I’ve always liked indoor plants, since I was a pre-teen, and I’m glad it has become a trend with our generation. I hope it won’t fade away, because once we start loving plants it’s an addiction for life.

It would be a delight to have a cup of tea, in a moments peace, and survey the greenery and gentle light in your home. How do you provide enough warmth for your plants over winter? I assume that it may dip below 10 degrees C without heating? Thank you for another gorgeous video.

I love your house its gorgeous. As a carpenter your house looks more Edwardian than Victorian, almost like a mix. Do you have any ideas when it was built? Don't forget citrus makes great little house trees. I have an orange and a lemon, they do bear fruit, just remember to mist them ocasionally just like the ferns.
@suburbanhomestead5 жыл бұрын
Yes, it is more Edwardian, but has a bit of a queen Anne victorian influence. It was built in 1917.

Well, I'm new to your channel. And I absolutely love your videos. Not only do you give great information, but the quality of photography and filming is amazing. So a question. I take it you must have moved from your old house of season one to this new one? It's a beauty. I wish you all the best there. Keep the videos coming and don't worry about how many people are actually watching them. just keep the quality up like you are because your core friends {like me} really do appreciate them.
