This happens sometimes in this series. The bathroom is probably too old to be made up quickly and cheap, so they leave it to the buyers to do a full renovation to their taste. If the downstairs is beautiful, a bathroom reno and painting a bedroom or two seems very doable for buyers. Maybe she decluttered the upstairs herself, but guessing from the downstairs the bedroom must've been rather messy and maybe she didn't want that on TV. And since they only have a certain time and budget, the can only do so much.

First view of the house shows the yard is not in alignment with the neat yards around, and it is in a good looking area. Decluttering does look important. I liked the closing of the un-needed window. Very nice job of making the home open and bright.

I just love Sophie, but I don't know what happened - the tacky decor, the incomplete tour, the bay window pillows that don't compliment the new window seat, etc. The newer shows are not as well done. Sorry, no offense.

I think she did the best with what she could… yes I agree the seat should have been cut to fit the actual whole bench. The kitchen did look way better though! I don’t think it’s all Sophie lol 🎉 I would have left the old table and painted it, I think there was room for it.
