The upside down one, Boogeyman, the Olaf, and the one wrapped around the tree are really incredible! Those took some skill! I also love the cute kitty ones and the one that looks like a tall woman with a hat and shawl.

65 years? Like it didn't happen in 2005 on Christmas Eve...or 3 years ago when we saw record low temps? Is everyone in Houston new?

@@panheadjohn1 We were building snowmen on galveston island in 05'. It only snowed 5" this year. Hardly a record amount. If it is a record, it's by what, a tenth of an inch? Iv'e lived in Houston my whole 43 year life and iv'e seen this much snow in Houston too many times to know better. I have pictures to prove the snow in The Woodlands just three years ago. Again, it has NOT been 65 years since.

I’ve also lived here my entire 35yrs of life but I live in La porte and it’s definitely never snowed anywhere near this amount here. Yes we have gotten snow but at most an inch. This was 5+ inches and I’m sure it will be a very long time before we see this much again.

@@casterkills Have you ever seen a $1000 bill? I bet you don't believe those exist either because you haven't seen one before. Just because you didn't see it in La Porte in particular, does not mean it hasn't happened in the greater Houston area. Just look at the other posts from Houstonians that have seen it, and have pictures to prove it. It definately has snowed this much in the Houston area within the last 65 years.

@@panheadjohn1 Except it has to be measured at specific areas for the amount to count. I remember my husband and I being at Memorial city mall about 15 years ago when we decided to leave because it started snowing outside. By the time we got to hwy 6 on our way to Katy we could barely see for all the snow falling. Another time I was driving to work in Deer Park when I hit a major traffic jam in Pasadena. Myself, along with many other assumed it must be an accident and there was nothing on Transtar about it. As we inched along we could finally see that there was about 3 feet of snow piled up on a bridge on 225 and a car was stuck in the snow and more was falling around it. It took me another 30-40 min to drive the next 5 miles to my work. Oh yeah, the rest of Harris county only counts when Houston wants our money.

Nope. Wrong. I have photos of my neighborhood (Alief) buried in snow, from within at most 20 years. There was the Christmas Day in 1984 I sat in my best friend’s mom’s hot tub, using cut out trash bags as little individual steam rooms. Who do you people hire? Are they even from Houston?

Did you mean to say Christmas 2004?, That's the only White X-mas since I've been here "1981", But I live in Baytown, We got the most in the area this time "6 In."!
