Yeah! Let’s subscribe people. Really helps Brian’s wonderful channel. And make comments. Even if their little short ones. Anyhoo, I hope Sierra is feeling comfortable. ANd also, cool to see and hear Timmy’s rig driving down those aspen covered roads in front of you. Very cool. I suspect you have some pretty sweet footage sitting on your hard drives Brian. Thanks for sharing these pieces.

Hi Brian! Great clips of Engineer Pass! Thank you for sharing your crossing! Remy and I snowshoe up by there quite a bit. We go up the Bear Creek Trail, off of 550 (the trail head is that small tunnel just south of Ouray). Once you hike past the Yellow Jacket Mine, you start to get above treeline. If one keeps on going, it will take them to Engineer Pass. It is also the route for the Hardrock 100 ultramarathon. I should also say, it is really important to check out the avalanche conditions before heading up there in the winter. Safe travels...and I look forward to running into you this summer (and, that implies Sierra is doing well too)! Thanks to Tim for rescuing you!!

That's a ruff spot. Was there recently and broke all my steps on my Tacoma at that spot. It was due to having to much weight and not enough lift but made it through fine other then that. Definitely hugged the wall though.

That area is gorgeous indeed. I was on the back of a dirt bike when we did the pass years ago. There were some areas where I needed to get off the bike. Fun experience! When I saw the high mountains for the first time, it brought me memories of my native country of Chile, Patagonia specifically. I hope those people are ok.

Hope everyone is okay and no one had serious injuries. A good thing that "truck house live" was in the area to give you a lift into town. Hope you get your issue with the truck fixed soon. Sucks that you keep having issues with your truck. It's easy for people to say "go buy a new one". Prices are so high today for a new one,and also that you've put so much time and money into your current one, makes it that much harder to just walk away from it. Glad it wasn't you over the side of the road. Best of luck to you.

Hitting the Burger Boy up in Cortez. I spent the winter over in Cortez doing all sorts of work to my 2 trucks. If you live full time on the road you will have to fix your vehicles from time to time. They just take a beating. I am also honest with my few followers and show them all my challenges and issues with breakdowns, and repairs. I try and do alot of my own work because I have all the tools with me. Plus you just cant trust mechanics to do a great job......I had a breakdown in Cortez, and then my rear dif pinon seal went out in Monument Valley so I limped it to Page and had a great local Mechanic fix it. "Eagle Mikes" in Page is AWESOME. Here I am in Hurricane Utah and I am also working on my rigs constantly. Just mounted my generator to the back of my 5th wheel motorcycle platform where I carry my klx 250. Which the reason I mention my dual sport is that I am planning on riding Black Bear Pass next time I am in the San Juans. I did Alpine Loop and Ophir pass last year on my KLR 650. I'm Headed to Lone Pine to Trek up the eastern sierras this summer. Come on out , give your viewers some new territory for your content.....so many ghost towns and mining history, plus.......I want to end up in the Warner Mnt's by end of the summer.....take care Brian, give a hug and kiss to Sierra for me......

On 9/16/2021 I drove by this Tacoma while coming down from engineer/mineral creek trail. The video doesn't do justice to the off camber of this part of the trail. I didn't want to end up stacked on top of him. Shortly after, we passed a jeep that made it sound like he slid off the trail within the last day or so. I was never able to find any info on the wreck. Might be part of the trail forever!
