@@OffGridBackcountryAdventures I'll keep sending the good vibes. I finally vanquished the mint in my backyard after digging it out and cursing it for 6 years. My mother in law planted *one* mint plant in 1969 and then it took over. Even when the house burned down in the 90's, the mint was the first thing to come back and it choked out everything else.

i would not remove the trees syntropic farming teaches us plants help each other grow, perhaps pollard them for fire wood or mulch also dig swales and plant along them you have the water. run that seasonal creek into a dam you dig and line with clay.

It won't look as tidy but you could accelerate the process and keep more sediment by putting debris like sticks and other organic material you clear from other areas. The soil would likely be more stable as well. I'm not a hydrologist tho. Looking good!

pretty sure junipers are native to northen arizona , theres no way a juniper drinks 6000 gallons of water unless its the size of the house, trees in general hold on moisture much better then grass does, you wont have green pasture like it was in the past unless the climate cools down if you havent noticed the trend is temperatures are going up, things in 70s were much cooler temps wise

@@NK-iv1ik gotta pushback on your misplaced comments...first off, the trees are invasive and have turned the environment more arid by not giving the tallgrass a chance to grow. Tallgrass is FAR SUPERIOR in trapping groundwater compared to the invasive Rocky Mtn Juniper and provide much better habitat for smaller animals. Regarding the bunny, that's life out here. The comment about "coverage for everyone's safety"...who are referring to? It's just me out here and I don't need to have OSHA standards for a simple hole in the ground. Perhaps you could so some research to educate yourself on why your comments are misguided. Here's a good starting point for you regarding the invasive species I'm eliminating from my property.
