Tom it was funny how the first six minutes all the animals were sleeping. Enjoyed watching as always, thank you 👍

Yeah it's nap time for the animals mid-day, the main reason I always recommend going back to the animals later in the day. Chances are good you'll get to see them outside. Thanks for your comment 🙂

I live about 30 miles outside Houston but I haven't been to the zoo in many years. Boy, has it improved dramatically! My faves were the otters and leafcutter ants. Btw my all time fav bird is the shoebill stork. Houston used to have one back in the day.

Hey Tom! How are you? I’m quite good myself! I like to ask you every once in a while how you’re doing because I not only care about your content on KZbin but I also care about your well-being! As I’ve said before ^. So down to business! I really enjoyed both parts of this tour! I thoroughly enjoyed the bug house! You saw one Tarantula 19:20, I believe the red legged Tarantula? Well let me give you a bit of information Tom: I’ve come to look at the scientific name for tarantulas more than common names, The 7 Tarantula KZbin Channels I follow have taught me that. You know why most people do that with tarantulas Tom? When you say Red legged Tarantula, you could be talking about the T.Emilia, T.Smithi etc… the list goes on. The one in the video is Emelia! Little bit of info for you Tom! Very enjoyable tour as always Tom! I enjoyed the lemurs and bug house most in Part 2 and the reptile house in part 1! Ok Tom: I really hope I don’t come off mean here but some of your pronunciations in the Prehistoric Beasts section had me ROLLING 😂😂😂😂😂😂! I was laughing a LOT!😂😂 I think my favourite one was when you tried to say Sarcosuchus 🤣🤣 Here’s something that might help you: SAR-CO-SU-CHUS. Hopefully that helps! Hopefully I didn’t come off as mean! Not my intention obviously! Sorry for the late comment, been real busy with work. If there’s any of the other animals in the Prehistoric Beasts section you want me to help you with, I’d be more than happy to help! Just tell me which ones in your reply! Looking forward to your reply!

I have been doing well Noah, working on my video's keeps me busy when I'm not at my main job. Thanks for asking, I appreciate that. The Houston zoo has a lot to offer, I enjoyed the lizards and snakes too. I waited around 45 minutes for the otter and squirrel to come out. The otter was super cute, he really enjoyed all the fish 😀 As far as the mispronunciation of the dinosaur, I mentioned in the video I probably saud it wrong. Main reason I show the signs so people will know what it's called if I mangle the pronunciation. Always good to hear your thoughts Noah.

Tom do you go to zoos that are accredited by the aza or do you not go to zoos that are not accredited by the aza
@TomsRoadTrippin3 жыл бұрын
The majority of the zoo's I visit are AZA accredited facilities. There are some smaller zoo's that are not AZA accredited that I've visited. In the later, I will check to make sure there are no cases of animal neglect. I won't go to roadside zoo's, small attractions that house animals is small cages.
