O….M….G….!!!! The HOVERAir X1 is a pocket sized self-flying camera and it is beyond awesome!
Honestly, I never thought I could love a piece of tech like I love the HOVERAir X1!!! It is so simple to use and it just does exactly what it says it’s going to do! You set the mode, set the distances etc and press go! So simple!!!

I’ve worked out where I was going wrong with my mic and it was user error as my mic was new too so you absolutely can use it with a mic. I’ll demonstrate that in another video as I’ll be using it all the time! I know the sound quality is noticeably different but this is where my mic will come in. I also had to adjust the audio slightly in editing as it was slightly out of sync but it was really simple to do!

Going back to the Onewind top quilt poncho you had on the channel recently. My wife’s (Xmas pressie) Top quilt/ poncho arrived from Onewind USA - to Australia in a week 😯👍……and you weren’t fibbing, it’s so good at reflecting body heat that even with my Air con running at 22deg it was too hot to wear in under a minute of trying it on🥵🥵🥵😍👏👏👏👍❗️ Simple drones make life easy. I love this little drone, my problem is that I spent most of my time in a canoe and one of the things this drone can’t do is fly over water. Hopefully they will make that possible, and I will get one for my trips and expeditions

Thanks Andy - that's why I'm so chuffed to have been sent it - I think if you compare it to the price of other drones it's competitive to be fair. You can't use drones on Dartmoor at all sadly but I think with this little dude if I used the follow or hover mode for example I might get away with it 😉😂

Hi Sarah! I use my phone to film all my videos then I pay for Wondershare Filmora to edit which I love! On your phone CapCut is also amazing and I just use the free version. Hope this helps! 🥰

Very interesting Karen. I am thinking about getting a drone, but like you, want an easy one to use. This would work well with my cycling also. Out of interest, is the video recorded straight to your phone, or does it go to an sd card in the device itself ?

Ahh hey lovely!!! So the drone works using an app which the footage goes to then you can download the footage straight to your phone. It’s so simple! It would be amazing for your cycling! 🥰🥰 Just have a look at the limitations in height etc…. It depends what you want it for but in the grand scheme of things it doesn’t go very high and is always looking at you (you are the final Point at all times if that makes sense?). I absolutely love it though and for a different way of filming it’s just brilliant! Just need calm weather! 🥰🥰

Ha ha, funny how you have a name for your X1 and refer to it as a boy. My wife's family always named their cars after the Christian name of the previous owner. Now we have all sorts of names for various items. I have a leaf blower called windy and we have a cupboard that houses miscellaneous called the silly cupboard to name but two. it's probably a form of madness but we finish each others sentences. The X1 looks great, just checked to see if I've won the lottery. That's a no, so it will have to go on my Santa list.
