My hoverboard does have that big honkin motherboard, only gryo boards on each side. It functions just like any other horverboard. Does anyone here know why I don't have that mobo?

Hi there, Thanks for this video! I found a thrown away hoverboard and it didn't seem to function properly. So I started checking for loose and or broken wires or other deviations within the circuit. There was one loose wire attached to the battery power connection to the motherboard with a 2 pin white connector on the other side. It did not seem to go to any connector. Here in your video you showed me that it is a 15V out extra utility connection. After tens of video's finally shown! So now I can move on, knowing that that wasn't the culprit! Thank you very much!🙏

I still don't get why you have to add the firmware to the circuit board. Why cant the rc receiver work by itself? Without the firmware that where im lost

because the program on the main processor is not at all the same , the stm32 processor is completely reprogrammed with a new system , you cant just plug a receiver in or use it like i do without changing the main program and replacing it with a new program

Do you think we can use the motor controllers already existing on the hoverboard board? To bypass the hoverboard uC brain? Thanks.

you can control the hub wheels with brushless motor controllers , i just used the boards because they have the controllers built in . i have a project in view with an odrive twin controller

Can you advise. I am having connection problem, I am using stm32 cube programmer and st link V2, upgraded the firmware, diconnected and reconnected st link, still couldn't establish connection
