I could sit here watching these Hovercraft all day - Amazing! Hadn't seen the hatched openings to the front of the craft so clearly before - reminded me of a flying saucer or, dare I say, a DeLorean. Perhaps, this goes some way to explain the timeless lifestyle many enjoy when visiting the Isle of Wight. Thank you for the film xxx

It's such an incredible invention and we're so lucky to have the hovercraft as part of our daily life over here! I really miss being in Ryde and watching them leave.

I always used the catamaran, but during lockdown hovertravel took all the foot passengers. I loved it, when it starts you feel your self rising up as the air cushion kicks in, the ride over to southsea is bumpy as a hell. Then you get off at southsea and think i wanna do that again it was fun.

If there's a stiff westerly wind blowing the Hovercraft do tend to rock and roll a bit during the ten-minute crossing of Spithead!
