The IOW certainly has great options to participate in outdoor activities and I would enjoy walking along that stunning coastline. Loved the gardens at Osborne House too and the quirky accommodation you stayed. Definitely one added to my list! Thanks for introducing it ❤️

Always love this island. After 50+ years of visiting we are now trying to live there. Just have to find the right place to buy or land to build if possible. You really don’t need a car as buses are good and footpaths are so well organised with great maps.

Great in depth coverage of so many places! 😊 Many years past I went to Isle of Wight via Wightlink car ferry from Portsmouth to Fishbourne. I plan to return but without car, what ferry options are there from Portsmouth to Ryde Pier if on foot?

Thanks so much! Great spot. Unsure about foot passenger options from those spots, we've only done the crossing once and that was from Southampton with our car.

There is passenger Ferry, from Portsmouth harbour to Ryde Pier, the Hovercraft, from Southsea to Ryde, then you also have the Red Funnel Passenger Ferry from Southampton to Cowes.

This is such a lovely video! We have a friend who lives there and wow I want to visit, all the way from Jerusalem! What time of the year was this filmed? Also, does the RF still use Queen Victoria's house? This seems like a much better destination than many of their homes!

Fantastic vid of the isle of wight. Most ive seen are all dreary and highlighting how dull and horrible it is. This makes the isle of wight look very nice, all places have dreary parts but youve shown some of the good things. Fantastic videoing guys, great coverage. I wonder what work there is on the island for a builder, who can do most things like myself or is work non existant there? Anybody know? Tia.

It’s all nice and charming when you only point out the few nice places. I think we are clearly forgetting about the dodgy parts of ryde, newport and more.

We just toured the island and visited the main spots. Though it’s worth mentioning every country/city/destination has areas that are less touristic, that’s the way it is.

The place we stayed was Tapnell Farm in their Geo Domesand we had a week there 😁 it was a gifted stay so I can’t tell you the price, sorry!

Yes of course, it was maybe a half hours walk. And you start at Freshwater Bay and head up towards Tennyson Down 😊 very well signposted
