Giving a legend a nonstop heartbeat sensor, that has no counter, the two robots can apparently be seen( even though they don't have...hearts😐) and he can see anyone at basically anytime( basically eliminates any chance of a rat trying to make it to end game in ranked) and he can use it 100 percent all the time.... he broke the game solely from his passive, lowkey Disappointed they came out with seer. Also mind you they nerfed the living hell out of horizon because she was able to go up in the air and pop a battery and land with full health buttt you know being able to cancel every single ability in the game, cancel rez, cancel self rez, cancel Valk jet pack, and see people and their health for a full 8 sec isn't broken?😐 guess I'm just a dumb ass.

I think it'd push the game too far towards ability oriented rather than arena shooter imo. Given that powercreep will always be a thing, it'll only be a matter of time before Apex becomes a game where your legend matters more than your guns or shooting ability, if you keep employing "X legend is OP, lets buff the rest of them to match X!"

@@DustyOrange But if every legend is OP, wouldn't that make it skill oriented? I mean, if I think of these things as numbers, lets say skill is +3 and the different legends are 1 and 2 and 3. You have a legend 1, thats weaker than 2 and 3, and you're not that skilled, so your number remains 1...but the enemy who's playing with legend 3 thats already stronger than yours and is skilled, his number will be 6...What will that result? 1 againts 6...I think that's pretty Legend oriented already. now, if everyone's legends are number 3, then the overall difference will be "only" 3, which represents the skill.

@@kazekami7313 No, by ability oriented, I don't mean player skill, I mean legend abilities. If the game was oriented around abilities, the gameplay would more resemble Overwatch or MOBAs rather than a shooter like CoD and the like. The gameplay would be focused moreso on waiting for cooldown abilities, passives, and ults rather than how it currently is more focued on shooting with the extra flavor of abilities, if that makes sense? And with powercreep being a thing, it would slowly push over towards making stronger and stronger abilities for all legends and would have less of a focus on the current moving and shooting, it would change Apex into a completely different game. Its kinda what happened to Siege, where the original game was more focused on tactical shooting and utilizing abitilites to gain an advantage, but if used wrong can actually be detrimental to your team, now, a lot of the abilities is set-and-forget and is completely idiot-proof or powerful allowing people to rush around idiotically and play it like a CoD deathmatch than a tactical, slowpaced shooter like once was.

And in my opninion, until skills won't one-shot a legend instantly, I don't think it will ever becone extremely legend ability oriented...

League of Legends, Siege, Overwatch, Paladins, various MMORPGs all are heavily ability oriented without OHKO/oneshot abilities. By name, ability oriented games are just more focused on abilities as the main gameplay feature than anything else. If Apex were to make all Legends "OP," the game would be heavily Legend focused which means ability oriented. Guns and shooting skill would be less crucial to win than the Legends you bring with you. That's the point I've been trying to make.
