If you use a 4-pronged crosshair with just the right size, you can get the tip of the upper prong to align with one of the pellets so get perfect, aimed headshots at long range. Been using that since they introduced fixed spreads

I only use the auto shooty, i also change my name to"Cultist" and spam cultist voice lines from blood 1997, im giving these zoomer the realz deadly hitscanner experience they missed This is my GRINDSET, this is literally all I do in game If you'd like to join the cultist gang, here's the load out PRIMARY - auto-shotty , but if you want to play as a Tommy gun cultist, then you can use the sig/Aug, the cultist in blood are deadly as fuck but also extremely accurate so camp corners with the scope and go for headshots, you can also use the Negev as well Secondary - irrelevant, the cultist don't switch weapons it's all or nothing Equipment - incendiary (aerosol can) and he grenade (dynamite bundle) Be as cheap as possible in true blood style and camp corners, don't forget the soundboard so you can shout crudox cruo when you spot a enemy and also so you can scream like a cultist when you die

Here's an XM smoke trick: stay a bit away from the smoke and assist your friendly AWPer. For example, consider B site Inferno as Ts. You drop the CT smoke and have an AWPer stare at it. You stand on fountain and blast at it. Gives a wide enough window that your AWPer can flick to anyone coming from CT if they're good enough. I've been on the AWP side of this and it's super effective.

XM is probably a bit stronger than in CSGO. With the tick thing in CS2, it could be that it's now more likely to hit further away if someone is moving sideways for instance.

For me it's just so fun to play auto-shotty in CS2, it just feels satisfying compared to in CSGO. I love holding short A on Dust 2 in casual mode. I don't know how to explain why it is better than before but they just coded it differently, and it feels good for some reason.

Watchdog and Irezumi are two really nice skins for the XM. They are pretty much the only ones worth getting and both are quite cheap.

Auto shotgun used to be the worst gun in the game by far, having almost no range. With these buffs they are now legit weapon choices. The tears of it's victims make the boomstick even more fun to use.

back in 2014-2017 when the matchmaking ranking system actually worked you could use xm only in gold nova matches and top frag constantly, now 90% of people in silver or "unranked" play like LEMs used to have fun with the nova and negev before the price reduction but now that almost everyone has the aim of gods cant have fun anymore

I have about 2 years since i committed to xm only. The reason why i did it is because of the xm tranquility - best skin in the game. I paid 80$ and got myself a low float FN , ST cutie, spent another good amount on buying naked girl stickers and now, my XM is a masterpiece. Currently sitting at 17k kills. I actually got banned for griefing from the enemy because i only play this. The secret to play XM is very simple. YOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE YOU'LL ALWAYS HAVE 2K NEXT ROUND!!!! In other words, on first round, always keep 100$ - and for the rest rounds, always keep an eye on the next round loss reward and make sure you always get 2k
