I think it's because there are a few times in the video where you do say you go off roading with it. But with those size rims, you dont have a big/strong enough sidewall to support the terrain. You also got the rubicon which you pay more for the offroad features with the electronic disconnects, better axles and front and rear diff lockers. None of those features are able to be used in any on road situation. So the 'haters' are just saying why spend the extra money on the things you dont need or cant even see? Either way, your jeep looks good for what you're going to use it for, i like the setup for you! Probably could have gotten the same setup in a sahara since you wont need the extra rubi features..

I bent my tailgate. Cost a small fortune at a body shop to correct the hinge. Did it hitting a tree limb on the highway, dash immediately popped up as tailgate open and when I pulled over couldn't get it off it wouldn't close all the way. I do run a cheap steel thing now cost like 300$, wish I did it before that. Now I can stand on the spare without worry

He did cosmetic mods only and a improper lift. They're are cheap workarounds but they make the wrangler bad offroad and even worse onroad. There is lots of complicated info you can google to do it right, or half right, or super budget and in the end your driving at 15 or 12 mpg with shaky steering death wobble, a light bar that is illegal to use all on expensive tires throwing off your uncorroborated gearset and computer to hell. "Looks cool" costs 3k for a proper 3"lift alone for good on road manors. Over that you need entire axles and list upon list just too maintain onroad drivability. Yeah you can f go cheap. Then f your wallet still on a vehicle your making into a wonky trash can of unreliability.

Try truing your tires and speed balancing them. I was having issues with my 2017 Silverado. I have 35×12.50R20 Pro Comp tires and would not get a smooth ride either. I took it to a local custom shop, they recomonded to true and speed balance them now I can hit 110 and it rides so smooth on the highway. It made a night abd day difference

I used to like modded tuned cars (a la fast & furious) until i got my unlimited jk jeep in hydro blue! Man i love my jeep, especially with the doors off and the top off. This way better than any convertible cars. At the red light, only a ferrari would get more attention.. but if there is a mustang, subaru, corvette, miata or modded shinny civic next to my shiny topless/doorless Jeep it always get people attention more than the other.. topless doorless jeep look so cool. I get compliments on the jeep every week.. its no joke. I did medium offroading 4 or 5 times in the mountain. I liked too. for someone who used to clean , wax and shine everyday it is a weird sensation when you hit a muddy road the first time. Because my jeep is my driveway princess, it has nearly no visible scratch. Im very cautious when i offroad. I only choose places where i know it won't scratch the paint. Other jeeps i offroad with probably don't like my chicken behaviour.. i see them side tracking in the bushes and crawling 3 feets rocks while i stay on the main open track. But at the end of the day.. everyone is back to their life.. me i keep paying for the car.. while the other offroad guys not only they do the same but they often have to live with a new scratch or buy a new differential or something they just broke in the bushes. Sport Car meets are just a bunch of car fan posing in a big parking with their hood open..its boring. Jeep meets are alot more fun. Jeep meet are often in the montain and sand pit where you actually do something. You don't hang there and do nothing in a parking lot. Jeeps are the next fast & furious trend. I run 34 inch tires and 17 inch rubicon wheels but thats because color wheels are so dam expensive. And jeep tires are bigger which make them almost 3 times the price of a normal vehicle. Id love to have 20+ inch color wheels but i also starting to like offroading thus i will stick to 17-18.. but my jeep will always shine in my driveway.

Hey do this. You'll catch the offroad bug a bit at a time like I did. My jeeps the most expensive thing I have so I baby it but still the jeep events are the best gatherings I ever had. I love all the trails and will park and eat lunch while watching all the guys break things crawling up culverts or whatever and still have a good time. We can be part of the community offroad without driving off a cliff but intentionally binging out a wrangler like this to make onroad crap and offroad impossible is just a showcar poser we all know it

llkoolca the issue comes with the gears in your front and rear axle. When you go with a larger wheel and tire, you should technically upgrade to bigger gears in your axles. Then your transmission won’t have to work so hard to “search” for gears when shifting.

This is my favorite car that I have ever owned. An extreme purple clear coat metallic 2017 JKU with 12.50x35x20s X 5. Body Color top and Dual top option... delivered in Montreal (all French/Metric ) Great video... it's a Jeep thing... no one understands! My first car was a Jeep and my last car will be a Jeep!
