This was an amazing video, I am hardstuck D4 at the moment and wonder if you have a bigger video that focuses on the fundamentals of augment priority for different builds, your one of the first people to really breakdown all those different choices so succinctly and I think that is a big gap in my playstyle is I tend to hunt for a few "well known" augments from tier lists depending on the build, but I think sometimes I reroll augments that I should just keep and take but am lacking an understanding of judgement in these situations.

You’re wrong. Bulk is way more effective on bastions than bruisers. Bruisers benefit from armor and mr, but not additional hp. Learn what is effective HP in TFT

​@@Jedence3Dactually you're wrong, armor and health have the same effective hp in tft, and bruisers boost the their hp. Bastions are usually better with more resists, because you play healers and shielders with them and every heal and shield is more effective if each hp point has more resist. Bruisers have skills around their max hp and usually are not played around healers and shielders

@@Friezje it’s not linear stacking. The more hp you already have the less benefit from additional flat bonus you’ve got. Same thing with armor and mr. let’s say 100mr gives you 50% resist, but 200mr won’t give you 100%resists. This way it’s way effective to have 2,5k hp and 100mr than 3000hp and 50mr (rough) Soraka heal flat amount - that’s why she is more effective with bastions and shields. Bruisers benefit from redemption, martyr etc % heal

instead of thinking of bruisers as an additive trait (+90%) you can think of it as multiplicative (x1.9) which means that you're both right - bruisers benefit from hp, just in a different way to how bastions do. bastions will have more flat hp to multiply their resistences, but remember that bruisers have innate armour and magic resist, so the additional (mulitiplied) hp they gain is also valuable. I think a good thing to keep in mind is the main thing that the bruiser board lacks is damage, so that is most likely the reasoning behind rolling bulk. The value is of course good, but whats the point of a 10 million hp board if you cant do any damage right? @@Jedence3D

How does tailoring work specifically? You just need one unit of a certain trait or do you need, say, 2/3 Noxus for noxus to show up?

It is based on the traits you have on your board the round before you open the tome, even if the trait is not active. The tome gives 4 options, but with Urf on 2-1 you want to have at least 6 traits on 1-3, so the first option in the tome will guaranteed be one of those 6 traits on your board. The other 3 options will be random. For 8-9 traits it will be 2 options that are tailored, 2 random 10-11 it will be 3 tailored options, 1 random etc

Yeah it is what it is. Bruisers are the main way to play 4-cost flex atm but you can also experiment with some other frontlines like Juggernaut if you're looking for an alternative that works okay.
