Really iteresting video thanks for posting. I'm originally from Northumberland and you can get from London to Alnmouth by train in about 3.5 hours and its just a short hop from there to Alnwick and the famous castle which is well worth a look and is a lovely old town too. It's pronounced "Annick" but to be fair you need to be from the NorthEast to know that :) . I remember an old news clip I think it was just before WW2 when Chamberlain said he would be like Harry Hotspur and "try try again" to avoid a world war but unfortunately events overtook him.

Thank you for the encouraging feedback, and for the interesting connection to Chamberlain. I would love to visit Alnwick. We're hoping to make a trip north next year. We want to hike Hadrian's Wall Path. Alnwick castle would be quite close by.

I think this is making the top of our list once it opens in the spring. We'll have to find a few additional random castles to visit along the way. (Random Castle -- What my son calls castles with no gift shop. They are his favourites. :-)

Nice video but the town of Alnwick in Northumberland and hence also the castle , is pronounced as Anick, not Aln-wick.
