that boss fight actually has 3 phases and he summons minions after a whille, i was playing on hard difficulty and only managed to beat him after lvl 80

I was level 64 spear guy when i came to this area. The final boss has three phases. 1st was easy at this level. Second phase was hard, I died 1st time in second phase coz I wasn't ready for sudden power up and played casually. After reload, I played carefully in second phase. In third phase he calls his whole army, but I found defeating him in this phase was easier than the second phase.

I've taken notice that it's not really your levels that matter as much as the martial arts you choose and also your passives. I've been making it a goal of mine to try and find more manuals to try and expand characters martial arts options. Breathing Technique has been an amazing one to find, free 10% MP recovery that you double dip on if you go the Wind route because of the extra move (yes please). Still so much about this game I'm missing, I can't find crafting recipes for the life of me, absolutely loving it though, and loving the play through your doing.

some traders have recipes for pickaxes and so on , if u get the relationship up and trade with them , or straight up buying them normal at the department store. but i got the same problem for other crafting recipes.

@Forrest_Pump yeah I've been able to find the tools. I have 1 medicine, 1 armor, and 4 cooking dishes (2 main, 2 sides). Since I'm hunting martial arts manuals almost ever npc I encounter I check there gifts to see what they unlock get them to close relationships then check there trades. But with so many npcs I'm lucky if I've done like 1% lol.

Not quite. you gain a crap ton of power when you do future playthroughs and take stronger and more starting abilities. This will be the most impactful way to improve your character. Levels do matter since it gives all around stats but yeah a lot of build variety comes from the various abilities in the trees as well as the martial arts you pick up. Going from rare abilities to all epic abilities gives such a huge amount of power. Also to make sure you do damage to enemies you generally need to make sure your attack is higher than their defense. If you can’t do that you do 0 damage.

You need to have high defense to go against that eunuch in the 2nd round. His speed is very fast (agility 20 points and stacked on wind) and able to move 2 to 3 turns before you. And he can kill your body guard with around 3 hits with his skills.

why does the prize chest after you defeat the last boss in the tower explode and kill me when i won the fight and opened the chest?

its a trap, u can open it after surviving the explosion, i managed to dodge the explosion by having high dexterity

If your machinery skill have high enough level, your character should able to disarm the trap set on that chest.
