Chris, your tutorials are always inspirational. I never knew I needed a cashmere scarf in wine until this evening but now it is essential. I thank you but my wallet doesn't.

I love that you did the Biscuit for Fall. I felt like it was more of a Summer/Spring jacket before seeing what you did, but you really did make it more versatile than I thought. I'd love to see the trousers actually paired up rather than just shown, as some times it is hard to see how well they do pair. And I'm glad you did that green jacket. I'm intrigued by it. It is different, but so subtle that I keep having to tell myself it is green. It's quite a smart shade.

I have always shied away from scarves because they would always look absolutely massive on me when worn around the neck. Now I sort of wonder why I've never worn them as an accent piece, simply tucked away like in this video. Thanks for that! Maybe I should reconsider my scarf-adversity?!

Cashmir jacket looks beautiful, but what to wear once you're inside?

I have a black Navy peacoat and a snow white military dress scarf (all be it polyester with a non-shiny silk look) and thought about maybe wearing it around the neck of the jacket and under the lapels leaving the rest of the white scarf to hand down.

Dear Chris and to whomever is responsible for pocket square production: I was perusing your pocket squares the other night (having just purchased 2 beautiful ones) and couldn't help but feel that you would do well to create a couple that depicted ancient Greek mosaics. I'm currently reading a coffee table book on ancient Hellenistic mosaics and the subtly of muted colours with highlighted accents would convert beautifully into a pocket square. I would gladly spend money on those. Just a thought! Cheers!

Always thought provoking. I love scarves but was shown/believed that you should never see the end under a coat. So, the tasselled ends on your examples should be hidden. Why? I guess it’s just perceived aesthetics. For this reason, I wear only shorter silk scarves under a blazer of sports coat and longer scarves under a raincoat or overcoat. At 70, I fully realise my ideas and perceptions are quite old.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! It’s fascinating how different perceptions of style can shape our choices. Scarves can really add a touch of personality to any outfit, and there’s no right or wrong way to wear them. Your preference for shorter silk scarves under blazers and longer ones with outerwear makes perfect sense!
