I have a couple of Loro Piana, brunello, kiton cashmere sweaters and i cut the label off in all of them. They bother me. Completely agree with you and those polyester labels

I bought a pair of 100% cashmere socks from another brand and they also pilled and slipped around in my shoes. It may be that merino wool is just better for this application since it is less fragile than cashmere even if cashmere is softer than the best merino. Could you do a video on whar are these good "middle brands" so we can try them out? Have you tried Joe Merino? Good products at a good price. I've had them for years and they hold up but I don't think most people know about this terrific brand. Excellent customer service too and lots of choice in colors... which is unusual for an all merino brand.

People don’t understand that cashmere is actually much more delicate and less durable than normal wool. Because of that, cashmere easily peels and it’s hard to keep that sleek tailored look. I have a Loro Piana cashmere cardigan and the edges sometimes get rough as well, because of the inherent nature of wool. At the end Loro Piana is also like most fashion brands charging unrealistic prices, far beyond its actual worth. Many brands have access to Loro Piana grade wool, so essentially it’s a 400-600 sweater (unbranded) for 6000$ 😊

I live really close to the factory where they make loropiana products. Since I have friends that work there I get often gifted products from the company or just buy the without the label I spend like 100-300€ for sweater coats… and don’t have to have that annoying label on 😂

Thanks for great videos, I've been collecting Massimo Dutti Cashmere sweaters, 1 each year at the end of season sale, and I really like them. They cost 100-120 Euros, and I'm getting much better value for my money.

I also got a handwritten note from Mes Chaussettes Rouges. Definitely a great touch. I've heard that the messages become more elaborate as you buy more from them. I did get a great pair of brushed cotton trousers from Loro Piana, but second hand in perfect condition for 50€, so great value for money there.

@@EnduringAttire yes, got them on vinted. It's just a plain, everyday pair, but they're very well made, with a comfortable loose fit, so I wear them often.

may I know if you will craft a content about hat/cap and gloves? as a person live in PRC, it's hard to access good producers on hat/cap and gloves, since the market is very niche here. the only producers list I know is BORSALINO, CHRISTYS, LOCK & CO and AGNELLE. but I believe those brands are overpriced, aren't they?☺

For hats I'd recommend the american Stetson and Signes (Spanish brand, but that is making hats for many other brands from the UK, some that you just mentioned) I'll make a video about accessories in the future. Cheers Vlad
