It’s very bittersweet. I wish they didn’t have to put innocent dogs and other animals in one way trips to space. While I understand it probably was before the rules for conducting humane and ethical experiments were put in place, and Laika did make history in space travel, as the first living being to make it to space, (side note: there’s an animation studio named after her!) it still hurts knowing she was basically banished to space and may never know what happened, or how important she is! Again, i acknowledge that the bulk of the content Jak published within Disrupt he wasn’t the only one working on them, as he would mention, but its really evident in terms of quality, narration, ideas, and storyline that the content Jak had a contribution in was much more high quality and on another level compared to these guys now. there is no space race between spacex virgin galactic and blue origin since so far only spacex has reached orbit
@ultima82502 жыл бұрын
6:20, escape velocity is actually the velocity required to exit the body's sphere of gravitational influence, not to enter orbit. Earth's escape velocity is 25,000mph, while the average orbital velocity for an object to stay in a 300km circular orbit around earth is about 17,500mph 9:53 It's pronounced Guh-Gar(as in car)-in, not Gah-Ga-Rin 10:28 The US put 2 men on the moon, while the 3rd, Michael Collins, stayed in Lunar Orbit. 10:57 SpaceX isn't really on the same playing field as Blue Origin and Virgin Galactic. SpaceX is focusing solely on Orbital flight, while Blue Origin and Virgin Galactic are doing tourism launches just over the Karman line, not into orbit. Sure, they both have orbital rockets in development, but SpaceX just isn't really in a Space Race with the other two companies. Its not really the same thing. Blue Origin is trying to compete with Starlink with OneWeb, but they still have to launch their Satellites on a Falcon 9, so its just not the same race.

As someone who wants AI and humans to coexist and work together, without overshadowing each other, or putting dreams, jobs, and livelihoods at risk, I feel this is a decent way of showing the potential of that! While AI was probably used for the thumbnails, the video itself was of course done by a bunch of talented people! And maybe the thumbnail was enhanced by touch-up artists or something. What I’m saying is, as a multimedia artist and creator in training, As well as someone who cares about my fellow artists, I’m tired of a bunch of people, trolls or not, using AI software to intentionally feed into the whole “robots are taking over” fear that a lot of artists are feeling. While I love technology and AI in general, I don’t want it to replace all human involvement, especially the creative aspect! I really want to help show people that robots and humans can coexist alongside each other, and we don’t have to live in an iRobot or WALL-E style world, pre-return to earth. Anyway, that’s my mini rant thing. Also, hopefully this never becomes a thing, but if we do end up in a Mitchels vs. the Machines scenario (love that movie btw!) I’m siding with humanity all the way!

The biggest joke EVER. I'll sell you 10% of the channel for the same price I paid for 50%. Biggest scam ever but oh with that money we'll expand and more cool videos like we already and I'll definitely not use that to pay off my debt LMAO
