Scrawny and just over 5 feet tall, Ma Yun was always outnumbered.
When he applied for a job with KFC, there were 24 people in the room. He was the only person that went home without an offer.
The rejections didn't stop there. But it helped Ma become the richest man in China with a net worth over $38 billion.

The first 3 years I bought things from Aliexpress I paid $0 in shipping fees! I literally bought hundreds of items, from fishing lures to household items, and paid nothing in shipping fees! Meanwhile, over at Ebay and Amazon they were charging more for shipping fees than the prices of many of the goods listed on their sites! I’ve always wondered how the heck companies over in China could offer free shipping, but not the companies in America that sell goods to Americans! Also, back then as early as 1.5 yeas ago, the goods sold on Aliexpress tended to be 10-16 times cheaper than the goods sold on Amazon and Ebay! Why are goods sold in America so much more expensive than goods sold in China? Then I read an article that said by the time an item made its way from China to a typical American store, such as Walmart, that Item has been marked up something like 14-17 times what Walmart originally bought it for! With this fact and all of the aforementioned facts that I had mentioned in mind, is it a wonder why people from across the world would rather buy Chinese goods than American goods? Also, I have been shopping at Aliexpress for over 4 years now, but have never been taken advantage of once! When the sellers at Aliexpress made a mistake all I have do is file a disagreement and every single time Aliexpress sent me my money back to my bank account without a single question asked! When I first started buying stuff from Ebay back in the early 2000’s I had all kinds of problems with merchants not sending the goods to me after I have made the payments to them or they would send me an item that wasn’t the one that they had advertised on the site. Instead they sent me an item that was far inferior and valued at 1/4 of the item that I had paid for! The experiences left me completely giving up shopping at Ebay again until last year when I bought some herbal supplements from Ebay. That’s 18 years I hadn’t shop at Ebay! Granted Ebay has learned its lessons from the past on how to protect its customers, but still for the longest time shopping at American online sites was a dangerous endeavors for consumers and when things went bad it is always the consumers that paid the price! This is completely different from my experience at Aliexpress. I never once have to deal with con artists over at Aliexpress nor do I have to pay ridiculous shipping fees and high prices. And people in America wonder why I always buy my goods from Aliexpress!

Nahhh amazon just dominated north america or europe lol not the world. Even if north america’s population are combined to one, it wouldn’t stand chance with china’s 1.2 b population. Who knows maybe india uses alibaba
