@@cefcephatus fomula is "% Damage taken after armor = 1 / ( 1 + ( ARMOR / 15 ) )"(From the wiki). So it never truly reaches 100%. Only potential for full invulnerability is floating point number computation errors on huge values(armor value around 1 billion).

I think the reason starfish doesn't show how many materials it earns you is because on its own, it doesn't actually "give" you materials. The materials that enemies drop is raw material that then gets modified by your other items like the metal detectors, while metal detectors, black flag, and hunting trophy all give you a direct flat amount of materials.

I found your channel by accident, when I looked for brotato content, first from hand of Blood, etc. I really enjoyed it ever since! Im actually from germany and I think the best thing of the videos is, how much effort you put into translating your (very elegant) german cursing XD. Espicially, because I understand the german anyways but then you see the perfect word for word translations, which don't make that much sense in english (sometimes)....

I'm kinda amazed at how big of a dimension Curse adds to the game. I'm not positive that I agree with the balance of it, as it feels like the upsides are SO much bigger than the downsides, but it changes so many calculations during a run. The DLC has a good number of characters and items, just one map and a few new enemies, but it really adds to the replay strongly. I wonder if we can hope that they'll keep expanding with DLC of this quality.

It seems like this character's trait also resets the reload cooldown of the revolver and the grenade launcher. The grenade launcher really takes this guy another bit further than the slingshot. More base damage, so more damage per hit, at the cost of slightly fewer bounces (but you get explosions)

Love the videos! there is a fantastic UI mod similar to the damage one you have on the left that shows your stat icons w/ numbers (includes active changes) on the right hand side so you don't have to pause to see them and we can see what they are actively and see them change/update actively! Could be fun, I use it and enjoy a ton :)

Hey Dex, you said something about the fish hooks around the 11th minute about the max amount of cursed chance per round you could get. Im not sure if you noticed, but you can actually get 6 fish hooks. 3 cursed and 3 uncursed. So you can easily go over 100% chance per round. The cursed items are not counted to the item limit of uncursed items and vice-versa. Hope this helps for even crazier builds/videos ;)

Just to try things out, I gave myself 30K materials on the shop on wave 5, 4 curse and 65 luck to see how many rolls it takes to get a Fish Hook. I only did it 10 times because I have other things to do as well, here are my results. The fastest was ofc 1 roll, 1 in 250, 1 in 690, most as in 5 took me 1000-3000 materials to get, one in 8000 and the craziest one was 19000 xD. I did it on the Druid if that matters to stats

Each point of armor increases the amount of damage it effectively takes to kill you by 6.66% per point. So if you have 100 hp and 5000 armor, seem like enemeies have to deal 100*(100+6,6*5000)%= 33100 damage to take you down

The most broken run I had so far was a well placed axolotl to replace luck and and damage. The pearls gave an insane amount of damage so I got over a million damage per weapon hit.

It shows what danger level you have beaten the character on, I only know that yellow is danger 5 which is max level. I think light blue is danger 1

Can you play the explorer with engineering? Early fish hooks and a ton of luck are very important. Then you want to basicly get as many trees as possible. Cursed recyling, trees, detector etc. are obv. the most important. For each tree that was killed a turret is gonna spawn, later on you obv. want to switch to hp scaling things. The second (blue) towers are the most important early to mid game don't upgrade to early. You will get a ton of movespeed naturally by going for engenieering things which helps a lot mid game.
