I'm incredibly lucky to work for this company in the Quality Control department. So much testing goes into each line and it's amazing to see it from start to finish!

It seems most of the fly angling items I have been interested in lately have Tim Rajeff's finger prints on them. That is not a coincidence. Innovators love innovation. I love the airflo path to success. If you really want to be the best, don't take the trail most hiked.

I used to operate these machines while making filament for 3d printers. It is a very tedious job and you cannot slip up even for a second or things go out of control. Everything is on a timer. I had 15 seconds to cut the end, push it through a hole, unscrew it put it aside, put a new spool on, load it up before the line got slack (at the top) and that was a panic job every time, no room for error or everything went haywire. You can slow it down but you know, my boss pushed for quantity per hour. Perhaps on this setup it gives them more time to casually do it. I only lasted two shifts doing it lol

I have a 5 wt Airflo Ridge line which I bought about 8 years ago... for some reason it gets twists and tangles so much more than any other fly line I have ever used.... all other variables accounted for. No idea why. I used it maybe 7 or 8 days and it's been sitting in storage ever since.

Space-age technology and science, combined with a high sensitivity to detail and craftsmanship, all to create a line ment to catch individual fish that were harvested for thousands of years with plant fiber nets and traps. To some, this may seem an insult, but this is why humans are the dominant species and we enjoy creature comforts: because for someone out there, good enough is never good enough. They see an opportunity and jump, making the rest fit as they go, to meet their vision. And we get to benefit. True innovation.

Airflo sinkers have always been good. The floaters have a very bad rep because of the memory or corkscrew issue. Now apparently this has been sorted. Can you advise what was the issue and how you have resolved this. Nobody wants a memory full line that lasts forever. We would rather a line that lies straight on the water without tension that only lasts a season.

I have one of their premium lines and have been hugely disappointed in it. I try to use it, find something good about it and off the rod it comes. I put it on a reel again and will give it one more chance. UGH.
