Aweee so cute, the little puppy just wants to play with his new friend. It’s so sweet how the cat stays close to buddy to protect him from this little ball of energy. They are used to relaxing and napping, but this adorable puppy has other ideas to play lol. I’m sure soon they will all be best buddies ❤.

Puppy gets too exuberant. Elizabeth hisses. Puppy is bewildered. Enter Uncle Buddy. "Listen to me, son. It's perfectly fine to play, but this is a cat, and there's a few things you should know. Trust your Uncle Buddy and listen ..." Puppy and Elizabeth will end up pals. Guaranteed.

Truly. Remarkable restraint. Especially given how many times the puppy annoyed her. (You can tell she's annoyed by how often she goes into "airplane ears" mode. Some of the clearest body language cats have.)

I just subscribed yesterday! Your precious Buddy reminds me of my dog & now I see your cat & she reminds me of my cat!! I think your cat is letting puppy know she’s friends with Buddy & she’s claiming her space with him. Your puppy is adorable & it makes me happy to see them all getting along and working it out! This Retriever must have a super magnetic personality. That cat tolerated quite a bit of annoying puppy because he wanted to be close to the Retriever. But, the puppy was relentless so the cat surrendered and got out of the pups reach.
