Note: at 1:40 I said make the lane volatile - I don't really like my choice of wording - I don't necessarily need to make the lane volatile as we can dive from 100-0. If I'm too volatile I might push too fast to facilitate that.

This was fantastic! You've earned a new fan. From Kayle's perspective, was there anything she + her jungler could've done to salvage the Renekton + Nidalee matchup? Or was that a loss from draft?

This needs a really long answer to fully explain and warrants a video on its own, but generally, Jarvan needs to be topside at the same time as the wave crash to shadow the dive. Otherwise Kayle dies every time or loses massive waves every crash.

@@EragonUK Late comment. But could kayle play more agressive lvl 1 to mess with this push? Kayle 1 isnt weak compared to her lvl 3 and renek 1 isn't as strong as his lvl 3. Pretty hard to die with bone platting and she has TP. You would slow push the wave anyway but she only needs to delay till 6 before the dive. I'm not a top lane main, but there are some matchups in mid that are played with that initial contest because you don't want to give full pressure for invading your jungler while you have 2 waves at tower and it's easier to contest the wave at lvl 1 then at levels 3-5. Also you really need to delay fights for your level 6 spike (Kass x Talon for example).

what do u do in this matchup early if your jungler isnt diving on wave 4? just try to deny her cs pre 6? I feel like shes gonna outscale even if shes 10-20 cs behind and just play safe with boneplating teleport and didnt get ganked. This video example is pretty ideal of what should happen in the early game

I think rumble top is very good! You have all the tools to stomp splitpushers early as his early game damage with overheat is very overtuned!

At 3:00, I don't even know how but Kayle has a wave bigger than yours, what about letting her push into you so that she is forced to walk up and you can freeze on her / kill her? Imo could have been good if enemy J4 decided to shadow Kayle on 4th wave not letting you & nidalee dive.

@@NELTIofficial if J4 starts bot then he can shadow on the dive and, she shouldn't be able to slowpush into Renekton without dying, unless I overestimate Renekton's damage.

​@@FabioSxO if j4 starts bot, nidalee also has the choice to use the prio to invade j4 topside. nida could also have started red into his blue. I think this is just imo a very bad game to use for coaching or present examples since topside is 100% in favor of nida renek. J4 cant do anything about it. If he goes top he dies as well. J4 is just forced to sacrifice top and play around bot snowball since its abit of a volatile lane with kali into lucian, which are both early but aggro ADCs.

There is almost no counterplay. She needs to communicate at start of game that she needs to be shadowed on 4th wave dive so j4 paths to her. If she survives this game gets harder and harder for rene - then she needs to communicate in advance all other slowpushes and hope j4 paths towards her. If she is better than renekton, she can contest the crash and try to hold freezes in front of her tower but this relies on her being much better than rene. If I'm her I probably try to leash less, and crash 2nd wave then tell j4 I need help on bounce back because kayle does win level 1 and can get the push. All this or she leaves and avoids the dive on 4 wave crash. It sucks though.
