Recommend turning off the Keyless entry system, a thief uses a device to amplify the signal of the key fob in your house and mimic it so the car thinks they are using the original key fob. I just brought an Evoque so will be turning keyless entry off.

Still love the Range Rover but they could have put a decent Alarm System in. My 2 RR's were stolen on my front lawn, even with the second one with an upgraded alarm system. Apparently one was found in Tsjadiskistan and one in Nigeria. A Range Rover that cannot be stolen, now that would be a bespoke feature.

Dusseldorf / Germany The first one was stolen with 7 other RR on one weekend. The second one they managed to steal mine + the tuned RR Sports that were tuned for a James Bond movie.

True but it looks that it is far too easy with RR and therefore I would recommend to spent a bit more energy, time and effort in that area. I don't need 22 airbags, EPS, ABS, etc... the car should be there in the first place and with today's tracking systems they know where they are. Worked my butt off for 30 years to be able to buy one and although insurance paid up it's a big nuisance in getting everything sorted out.

I'll be honest, as someone who knows people in insurance in the UK. It's not just a problem with RRs. It's an industry wide problem. Fords, vauxhalls(opels), audis, mercedes, VWs and BMWs are by a country mile the most stolen cars here. It's ridiculous that my VW polo run around from 2007 is harder to steal than any of our last LR cars....
