How a Madman clears ZT-10

Special thanks to Ruvia for the Chalter support! I have grown to despise this stage not necessarily because how hard it is but because the only window of bursting I can do to the boss's 1st phase is at 4:10 so I have to deal his whole Hp within those 20 secs with the turrets. As you can imagine E0 Lvl 1 isn't known for it's burst damage. Because of this I had spent hours on his 1st phase with leaving him at around 10-20% Hp each time with very few chances of getting all the skills and timings perfect to finally get to the 2nd phase to figure that out. I hope having this whole clear being 15 mins long isn't too much but I am dead serious when I say that just about everything in this clear is calculated and I had no idea how it edit it down without sacrificing from it.

"time is limited" says Ch'en... couldn't be more right this time. Never occurred to me to use sleep to stall enemies during their buff period in phase 2, but it makes tons of sense. Kafka really being MVP for keeping you alive there

On one hand, this clear is pure inspiration to someone like myself who has only been playing the game for 2/3 weeks. Seeing clears like this is what got me excited about the game in the first place! On the other, I spent 3 days slogging my rag tag group of E1Lvl20 ops to try and clear ZT-10 and only got to phase 2 twice before I ran out of time for the event. GGs fella. Was a fun watch and you got a sub from me.

well big recommendation: focus on low rarity ops, like 3 or 4* specially for events, as you can do a lot with these few operators + a 6star support unit just try your luck, use the practice nodes or however they are called and use guides if you really struggle ^^'

I hope you are enjoying the game! Yeah ZT-10 with an underleveled team is very frustrating because of the small window the boss gives in 1st phase to burst him down. 2nd Phase honestly was so much easier to deal with even with the tankier normal enemies coming in.

​ @CANNONLOWY_E0_Lvl1 I have been enjoying the game immensely so far! The funny part is that I didn't even know that the one spot you bursted him down in your clear was an option. I assumed that due to how little time he spent there, you couldn't kill/burst him down! (Shows me for assuming and not trying). So in my two times I got to phase 2, I had an ungodly setup of trotter S2 chipping him from the right when he stood in that bottom spot, Lessing and a medic doing damage to him in the middle, and then Quartz/Virtuosa/Melinite bursting him down in the top tile he teleports to. (Which worked!) Didn't have enough time in the event though to figure out what to do in phase 2, so I just fell over and died at the end, haha.

@@homeworldful Yeah he stays in that spot at 4:10 in the clear for about 25ish seconds so with the portal being 20 sec duration that is when you can burst. Usually all the other enemies are taken care of too so that's when I focused him down. The way you took him down sounds really impressive of itself though.

Just thinking of what kind of ungodly things have to happen: - Grouping annoying dudes together e.g. yellow harp dudes - Timing phase 2 melodies to not piss off yellow harp/purple wind dudes by the time they reach the main dps group - Managing healing w/ quercus (especially aosta) - Juggling baiting phase 2 boss + when to kafka sleep + when to tex/yato/canta/ines dps + dp regen w/ frds - Timing boss dps (when to burst, when to chip to not trigger teleport, etc.) - Timing cannon dps (god im not even going ask) - Remebering out-of-nowhere aosta skill activations - Phase 1 tuning node timings - god i dont know what else besides having a time limit cos why tf not Yeah bro f***ing cooked

Thanks for this list! Yeah I spent 2 whole days and then some to figure out timings of everything. In fact I probably only reached the 2nd phase less than 10 times because that was just how tight the Dps was for phase 1 which was very frustrating (and that explains why I had to slow-mo so often 2nd phase to give myself time to think). After all that time a lot of that became muscle memory.
