BTW, the word “NEW BRANCH” in Clue No.3 is the name of the new skin of Muelsyse. If you go back and check out the 5anniv pv, when the skin shows out, there are the letters of Sarkaz and braille at the top-right corner. Transfer them to Caesar cipher, we will get “BU Tauri”, which is an another name of Pleione.

⁠@@auriorbis319The key is 7. The skin is called Young Branch indeed, maybe that’s because “New Branch” translated into Chinese is “新枝”, which’s the Chinese name of Mue’s skin. We have already got the audio from tapes for phase 2 of the ARG. You can listen to the full audio by visiting the ARG website. The audio has tons of information about the former civilization. But sadly, the second phase of decryption still has no substantial progress after 3 months passed. We are stuck by a website - an infinitely rebooting lynchpin.

Just a small follow up, They found that new branch stands for Muelsyse's skin in the 5th anni event pv On the upper right there's a code made up of sarkaz words and braille, after decoding they got the name BU Tauri, which is another name for Pleione In Greek mythology Pleione is the name of an Oceanic nymph, hence Muelsyse as she is a water elf

After countless of many inaccurate lore vids, rants and ragebaiting with shitty opinion videos in EN content creator space, finally a good food! I followed the ARG Phase 1 code cracking real time and man that was... amazing. I really enjoyed this ARG the best compared to the one before this. I was a former astronomy student and know a fair deal about stars and astrophysics concepts used for the puzzle pieces, while the previous ARG from PV2 with laser chess stuff just baffled me. Looking forward for your next video delving into Phase 2 of PV4 ARG. It's even more chilling than the Phase 1 (maybe because it involves an actual physical object and selected people irl), really show how much HG seriously cooks Arknights after half decade of this game. It really shows how ingenuity can take something to greater heights--and how devoted CN fans can be in regards to their beloved media.

@@YaBoiRenegade I didn't really solve it just following the discussion from Discord and "ooooh make sense!". The one with Siege was too obvious for me like "duh, she's a lion. Regulus obv the answer" when the hint for other was the star catalog. Algol is the second most obvious to me coz star theme and we dealing with Sarkaz = devils. I was completely lost with the Park LIfe album tho. About Alhena, it seemed that in the beginning HG actually made a mistake by putting the blue box in wrong position so with ALHENA you didn't get the right solution but with GAMGEM for Gamma Gemini you did. Later HG fixed this and you got the same solution with ALHENA. Funny thing is the password was actually found by bruteforcing. FUTURE's explanation in your vid was the intended way to find the answer, but how the real password was discovered is by...well, bruteforcing with all the hecking little trivias from AK and HG media lol. And they did strike lucky by reversing the date of AK Weibo's very first post, and yes that's the announcement for 2nd Beta Test. CN side of Arknights fandom never cease to awe me, while on EN side... I mostly only facepalm myself from secondhand embarrassment from anything outside stage clear guides.

@@mr.clevertrick8710 If it's H*y*v*rse, well... GI writing is never that good, and all the good bits of worldbuilding is hidden in the books and relic descriptions no casual players would ever read. HSR is actually pretty solid except for the shitty Xianzhou Luofu part, although it doesn't help the whole Honkai lore was just too big as it spans multigame starting with Honkai Gakuen then HI3rd. A chunk of the first gen of EN Arknights players are from Azur Lane because of Yostar, and peeps play AL for the softcore p0rn, not the story and especially not the gameplay. The ones interested in the lore tend to come from OG GFL players, just like Haimao himself lol. I'm just dismayed EN Arknights player is nothing much outside WHAT"S THE META??? and stereotypical pervy weeb interests to the ops. But again somehow EN players uniquely lack in critical reading skill, and Yostar's EN translation quality is so inconsistent, so not only it makes EN's interest in lore low but also making the ones interested in it running with shitty take/interpretations of the lore.

If you log in now without completing the crosswords, the tape actually plays in the website itself. I can't understand Chinese but there's some English recording voice too, most probably recordings of NASA's first mission to moon. Edit: I tried playing it on simplified Chinese Google Translate and the only words that could captured by the machine is "Terrible sorry. Let them live! Just my last time. Heaven. ...Soon before your" I recommend not fully trusting the translation, but is it possible the recording was by Oracle (us Doctor) themself before getting put into the Sarcophagus to hibernate all those 10,000 years ago?
