The title says it and the emphasis is on the word Master. He truly is a Master Carpenter. 👍

It is always beautiful to watch a master at work. I learned a lot that was new! Every single minute is full of knowledge bombs. I feel as if I just attended an advanced woodworking class.

The level of mastery makes one bow down in admiration. We have touched the very summits of woodworking. This Master's tools are absolutely breathtaking. The sheer SIZE of two of his chisels are incredible! I'm pretty sure that these were made especially for him. My deepest respects for your great culture. Thank you so much for sharing. Greetings from France.

Wow amazing! He ordered those chisels from a good blacksmith and these are his favorite tools as well.

My old man was a master carpenter back in the day. Growing up seeing what he could do with a relatively small (by today’s standards) collection of both hand tools and power tools, it is really baffling to see these social media guys yammering on with their wall-to-wall floor-to-ceiling gadget collections behind them. Especially looking at the 1980’s shop class level work most of them are making 40 minute videos about 😳

Besides his masterful skills, have a look at his arms. There's true power and endurance in it. I would bet my ass off, he's a Karateka.

I thinnk there are 3 factors. 1. The Japanese archipelago doesn't produce Iron. 2. Japan was quite (and intentionaly) clased to the outside world, so they couldn't import Iron Ore, either. 3. The climate is quite humid, so NOT using nails could make building last longer actually. (no rusting) The world's oldest wooden building is in Japan. (The Horyuji Temple: 607 AD)
