It's not uncommon to see frame perfect, pixel perfect actions in speedrunning, so it's entirely plausible for it to evolve in Minecraft bridging, too

It's funny how things change over time, and something so specific and simple like that... Tbh I would never consider this as bridging world record rather as the bridging world record on the server because if people are taking advantages of headhitters and lower slab and all its cause of the server design. In a way we cant even say what is actual bridging record because it all depends on your surroundings and how you advantage from it.

Turning at a 45 degree angle and strafing 1 tick after you leave the ground will increase the momentum you have, so if you can do that 8 times in a row 3.700 is definitely possible.

A common pattern I notice is that the bigger the community, the less open they are for changes. You tell a group of 5000 a way to be faster, they doubt it. You tell a group of 5 a way to be faster, they grind that shit until they are certain its not worth their time

I’d actually say the limit is 3.6 or 3.65 but hear me out. 5 block flat with perfect momentum starts and the 5 tapped speed tellies. Then, you double clutch and place a block above you as you are jumping which isn’t a head hitter but still saves time. Knowing grinding communities I know this will happen.

Ironically it is faster to bridge in playstation since U can sprint and place blocks at your from at the same time. With that I could perform a 3.85 but if someone performs it better then gg.
