I made a Pallet Coffee Table from pallet blocks and sold it to a customer. I used only pallet blocks, wood glue, epoxy, tabletop oil and danish oil.

I've been subscribed for a while but I just seen this today and also your "bedroom pallet" build video... haha... love your sense of humor and it is an inspiration. I too, use pallets and build all kinds of things... YES a "pallet buster" tool and "pneumatic de-nailer" are a MUST if your are serious about doing things with pallets. For the past 5 years+ I had been using a circular saw/reciprocating saw etc...EVEN a chainsaw to ease the dismantling process for pallets. It ALWAYS came down to the crowbar/hammer etc.... It is so cool to see like-minded people. If you want to DO THIS? GET A PALLET BUSTER(swivel-end type) AND a de-nailer... your welcome. (I speak from experience)

@@soothingsounds1784 Clients: If you're just starting out I would go through friends and family first and make them something. Take pictures of and post on social media. Then your family may recommend you to somebody else, and people will look you up and see nice pictures. Visit bars and cafe's. Try Etsy. Make some videos and put on KZbin.

I work for the “king” of fasteners (distribution) and I too have a passion for working with reclaimed pallets and skids - so the aforementioned lends me access to assortment from around the globe. Sometimes I have to put the projects on hold, just to spend several days breaking down pallets, cleaning and sorting, cutting, sizing and inventorying (OCD and ADT makes this process overwhelming,but I get it done). Your video on “How to dismantle pallets without destroying them” was full of knowledge! Anyway - You have mad skills in the pallet shop my man !! Used right it can really add something to a table, and it can allow you to use wood that othervise could not have been used (e.g. rotten wood etc. ) Some of the blocks in this table came from Turkey, and whenever I look at the table I think of how it came together with parts from all over the planet. @@JesperMakes Not yet I am building a pallet dismantler with a little Native knollege from my ansestors. I was going to build a big wedge and push the pallets down with a ratchet strap. That didnt work so good lots of boards broke and cracked. My next attempt at this will be a big lever I built for about 1 cdn dollar in screws. I will post my video soon all tag you in it when it is ready.

Very nice Jesper! I have made a few table tops from pallet wood. Instead of glue and acrylic, I use construction adhesive to fill the gaps and nail holes. The result is amazing.

This is the first time I've subscribed to a channel. This is the second or third video of yours that I watched. The first one was the pallet block river table. As I recall there were a couple videos grouped with that one. Everything of yours I watched was inspiring and entertaining. I hope folks take your lead and start picking up discarded objects and making stuff out of it. It is that easy. I know very little about this kind of work but after doing something similar from scrap wood I learned to prepare some of the scrap wood the same as my project so I could try different finishes on the scrap before applying it to my project, but you table looks awesome I hope your wife appreciates it.

Looks great! I think your epoxy leak came from the joins between the plastic wrap pieces, I'd recommend adding a line of tape on each seam between wrap pieces.

Hi Jake, thank you for your comment. There's always a reason behind it when something goes akward in the workshop or when somebody reacts very emotionally with a comment on something they see. Absolutely tremendous work! Such a novel idea and a stunning result! Intrigued to try something similar but the sheer cost of the epoxy is a little intimidating... Could obviously square up the blocks and fill the nail holes first to reduce gaps but I think the black voids are part of the charm. Also, video is beautifully produced and has a real sense of narrative. Well done.
