Tons of people started playing it real fast and loose after seeing ordinary people make fortunes overnight in the initial crypto bubble, and most of them lost much more than they gained. General Hypothetical Advice for future reference: If you see someone being grabbed on the street and hauled into a van, don't focus upon the person, but the vehicle itself. The van is the weak point; cut the tires' sidewalls with a knife or use side-cutters on the tire stem valve- this takes 1 second, and you can focus on escaping from people who already have one important captive to keep hold of. Get 2 tires if you can; ideally on the non-driver's side so the driver has to go around the vehicle to pursue you. Alternatively, dye or a pint-can of paint, or even a can of soup can mark an "unmarked" van for others to make a target of opportunity of at some subsequent point when it might be more vulnerable to ambush or sabotage. A picture of the marking can go out to your local network in a second; and from that second on the van is a target. The only way this tactic of authoritarians can be rendered useless is by making it so painful and expensive for them that the price is too high every time. It's better than confronting the enforcers with personal violence, bc those enforcers are geared and trained for that and it costs them little compared to the damage they can do to you. They still have to get in and out of their vehicle tho, and their defense can't be perfect at those times. Hypothetically.
