I almost bought the SG-300 last year, had a few test samples printed on to different media. Applied the designs to both 50/50 blend and 100% cotton, washed the T-Shirt and the ink literally bled from the designs after the first wash. Bought a VS-300i instead with eco sol max 2 inks and never looked back. What have they changed in the SG2-300?

Congratulations on your new machine! sounds like you love it! The SG2 has some great added features as mentioned in the video. It also uses the new TR2 ink that is different from the original SG ink. Way better if I do say so myself! :)

This is the printer that prints a TRUE orange? i somehow read that somewhere but not sure if this is the model with that?

I have heard that the ink doesn't last on Heat transfered materials very well. Is the Ecosol ink compatible with this machine?

Gary, Stahls has done extensive wash testing on the new TR2 inks which is different then the previous TR ink. All Heat Transfers product has passed!

Robyn, We will release a new video on 2/17/2020 showing the process of printing, weeding and applying the mask using the SG2-300. Keep an eye out for it.
