Hey Tommy you should try roleplaying as a sort of mercenary nation. Pick a nation with lots of manpower and ask other players for lend-lease/factories/territory in exchange for volunteers and garrison manpower. Towards the end you can be more aggressive and declare wars, but only if it's to help a client with their war.
